They lied in 2019 when they said they had a production ready drone with a guaranteed delivery of June 2019. Their crowdfunding page had many paragraphs about how this wasn't like regular crowd funding... See more

the most shocking customer service and fraudulent to boot

Ordered a micro drone 3.0 combo from these guys but never received it. Turns out they gave the wrong address to their delivery company even though the order confirmation shows the correct delivery address. The delivery company can’t or won’t tell who/where they delivered to and extreme fliers won’t respond to emails. So now I have no drone, the idiots have taken my money and won’t respond to emails asking for assistance. This the most shocking service I have ever experienced. These guys are fraudsters.

Extreme Fliers is great

I have now bought 3 of the micro drones. Not all has gone smooth, but I have to say Bee in customer and the company overall are very good, cooperative, informative, communicative, and timely in all of their dealings with me.

I highly recommend them the product and they are awesome

The bigger picture

Call me a turny turny turn coat I don't care, but I'm changing my rather harsh view of Extreme Fliers after careful having some consideration of what they are wanting to achieve with the development of the MicroDrone product.
I think in all fairness the product is most definitely not junk. a few tweaks here are what they are doing and am sure will have a great product. If I crash my drone as result of being an awful pilot, I will only have myself to blame for that, but at least I know I can buy the spares for a very low price and be up and running again. I initially backed the MD3 for the features it offered at the time and although it took a little longer than expected it still arrived and in all fairness it is a tidy little machine. With the sheer volume of orders they received I can see why some things are taking a little longer to be sent out than others, and maybe they need to look at how the sales team are handling that, as good customer relations and updates on how the service is improving will certainly boost confidence in those still waiting, without a generic copy/paste response to many of the problems encountered so far.
Seeing the bigger picture personally I think I'll stick with this little drone and hopefully the gimbol when it arrives, but they are not scammers, they do deliver their products. I feel a few deep breaths is needed at times, but let them focus on getting the product completed to meet the customer needs rather than demands. I think they are close to achieving this and will support them all the way.

DO NOT BUY

Waited 6 months for this horrible toy, after just 5 flights a total of maybe 5 minutes it burnt up in mid flight, 60 feet in the air and dropped like a rock breaking the camera battery two motors two props. After finding out that it's a very common issue. They sent me the same exact mosfet or board and I'm afraid to fly it in fear the same thing will happen. I want to sell it but when I looked on ebay they just not selling and when they do sell you take a huge money loss. Worst experience ever. To top it off EF got some kind of award from the Queen for Enterprise innovation 2016 What A Joke. Something needs to be done about what their doing its not right. They need to be forced to give all the backers a full refund. This thing is a piece of crap. So don't waste your time and money with extreme fliers and the 3.0. SHAME ON THEM

$3.5 Million - Gone

That's how much they got from the Indiegogo campaign for Micro Drone 3.0 (aka MD3). Three and a half MILLION dollars. They said they would ship November of last year, it's now almost April of the next year - a few hundred have been sent out.

Delays were blamed on supposed "improvements", but none were actually made. When pressed for direct and truthful answers to questions about MD3 production, Vernon Kerswell and the EF team stopped replying - blaming "shocking personal attacks" as the reason why he was walking away (someone said he was a "rip off" is why he was so offended).

I was the biggest cheerleader for this company for a long time, but now even I can't deny that this was a 3.5M scampaign, and that Vernon Kerswel and Extreme Fliers are rip off artists. :(

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS

Really do not know where to start with these scam-artists.

Will easily take your money at conventions and on their website, but when it came to getting a part replaced after my drone stopped working after one day from purchase, have not heard a word from them in over a month.

This company should be and will be reported to Trading Standards.
Abysmal customer service, abysmal cheap crappy product produced in China. (their whole "Modular design" just means crappy pieces of cheap plastic that break off very easily)
This company deserves nothing good and is an embarrassment to our consumer rights, never have I ever encountered such a useless company (company should not be the word, more like organised criminals).
Oh and they have a number that no one ever picks up and always seem to go voicemail...this company is a full on scam. Don't be fooled by their other websites either (microdrone/co/uk)
They have a "Microdrone 3.0" coming out and they are out there begging & stealing money on indigogo to fund their next scam....save your self the hassle & the money, there a million drone companies better than this pathetic excuse for a drone company.
VERNON KERSWELL, YOU FOOL, YOUR PRODUCTS ARE RUBBISH AND SO IS YOUR CRAPPY COMPANY. GET OFF AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OR GO AWAY.

Will make it a mission to take this company down to the real world.

Hello, is there anyone there..?

I really wish I hadn't got involved. I bought an Extreme Fliers quadcopter at a gaming convention. Purchasing over a table was fine. However, buying replacement parts and add-ons through their online website has been terrible. Money has left my account and I've not received any due date after 3 or so weeks. One email got a reply after a week and then nothing. No end in sight, so will contact PayPal to see what can be done.
The initial fun of flying the quadcopter has been totally overshadowed by the frustration and disappointment of the online service.

Stay away

Is their, apparently only, support person not English-speaking or completely stupid or deliberately obtuse? There was no way to misunderstand the problem and it would have taken 5 minutes to rectify. Instead when they did finally respond their 'solution' didn't address the actual problem in any way. E-mails went back and forth for months, with them each time taking at least a week to respond. Each time they simply failed to address the problem. Some of the statements they made in their responses were plainly false, like claiming I'd never ordered from them or never paid, when their e-mail included a copy of the order invoice.

Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere.

Inexistent 'Customer 'Service'

No responses to emails, no tracking go my order, order arrived incomplete, no response to my email about this. They have no right to be trading on the net. Quite appalling behaviour. I have now read many other people treated in the same way, so this not a 'one-off' glitch.

I DON'T recommend any purchase from this website. 27 days and I still didn't get my Item.

I purchased a Toy for my son's birthday at July 17 and they charged me for shipping (they didn't mention what kind of shipping was that). after around ten days I contacted them because I didn't get any confirmation email or Tracking number, after few emails trying to get a tracking number they sent me an email with tracking number that indicate they shipped it 26th of July, today is August 14. two more days and it will be a month and I didn't receive the Item yet. My son's birthday passed and he was so disappointed and he still waiting for his toy.
