There’s only one word to describe my experience with Extravel Money — BRILLIANT. And the credit goes largely to Mary. Every organisation needs someone like her: sincere, dedicated, and truly committed to putting the client first.

Placed an order on the website during the weekend. The customer representative reached out first thing on Monday morning. Explained the procedure through WhatsApp, and I was able to transfer the funds to Germany successfully. As promised, the funds arrived within 4-6 hours on the same day. The exchange rates were significantly lower compared to traditional banks.

Very poor pathetic service experience
Very poor pathetic service experience. I booked twice first they my order was canceled automatically without asking me. Second time I visited the branch but they have some strange rule of currency check even after that I cannot edit or cancel my order online. I tried calling but no body was responding. I uploaded all KYC documents still KYC documents are being asked at store. Even you book the order there is no guarantee that you will get money because of their policies & platform problems. Do not book online rather visit the store directly where you can get currency exchange, I feel its more convenient than booking online.

Regarding the cancellation of your first order, you are absolutely right to be frustrated. Our standard process is to wait longer after attempting to reach a customer before canceling, but in this instance the cancellation was made too quickly after we couldn’t get through to you on Saturday and again on Monday. This was a mistake on our part, and we truly apologize for that.
On your visit to the branch, the branch’s verification of currency notes and KYC documents was part of the standard compliance process that every bank and forex vendor in India must follow. Unfortunately, torn or defaced foreign currency notes cannot be accepted anywhere, which is why one of your notes was declined. However, the remaining notes were valid and could still have been exchanged at the agreed rate at the branch.
We fully understand how these experiences left you dissatisfied and we regret that we couldn’t deliver the smooth service we always aim for. Your feedback has been shared with our team so that we can ensure better communication and avoid such lapses in the future.
