Avoid Extract Insulation

The experience that I had with this company was not good. I had three quotes for cavity wall insulation. Two of the quotes were for just under 50 square meters. The quote from Extract was for 72 square meters. Obviously a huge difference.
Almost two years in which to reply.

Hi Rod,

I must admit, it's disappointing to receive our first negative review after serving so many satisfied customers. I believe it's important to share the full context of the situation. We offered to adjust the meterage to 62m², but this was declined by you. You mentioned that you would only accept the quote if we matched your suggested measurements.

It seems that our competitive meterage rate and 5-star reviews were appealing to you. Despite numerous communications and our efforts to accommodate your requests, we ultimately informed you that our price was final after making adjustments. We also mentioned that there were other companies available that might align with your preferred meterage.

Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you the best in finding a solution that meets your needs.

Kind regards,
Scott

Good company

The man came exactly on time and looked at our insulation. He noted that we had insulation between the joists and across the joists and said that any benefit we got from adding more would be minimal. That's what I call honest!
