I just started using the service. At first I was a little scared. But I found out it is real and I am comfortable with ithey really do help you build your credit. They give you a second chance to get back on the right road again. I think I made a very good choice with them.I'm Very happy so far.

This place is a scam they take your money and decrease your score THIS PLACE IS FRAUD DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE !!

At first when I got extra it was a good thing my credit was building up and then all of a sudden it start playing with my account taking money out putting money back in taking money out put money back in and it is finally told me that I owed them some money so I sent two payments in for the amounts that they ask for and put my credit back up to $200 went on a road trip where my family and the $200 disappeared into a negative $174 then the next day it dropped down to $124 when I asked them what was going on with the account they said the corrections was made in that I should see a change in my account pretty soon so I waited for about 2 days and they hit me with your payment never went through and this is been 5 days since I made the payment so I'm not understanding how it wasn't accepted or my payment didn't go through when I gave you guys the money 5 days ago it came out of my account I show proof that it came out of my account and they still had me in a negative then a couple days go by from that and they put me at $6 and they said my payment didn't go through and that I still owe them even though that my bank account shows and reflects that I paid them twice very unhappy with this app I tried to cancel out yet got an answer back for cancellation nor repayment on my account everything that sounds good might not be good for you

So far I love the fact that I can use money from my debit card

The company makes it easy for you to qualify. Even if there were problems with the transactions, the staff is there supportive and willing to help.

extra was a boon at first. That was then, this is now.

I had two experiences where they claimed a "failed refund,". It was nothing other than a vendor getting an authorization that ultimately wasn't charged - no charge, no refund. Guess AI thought, ugh twice in a couple months, let's cancel the card.

edit - 06/27/24 - well, I did get in touch with what appeared to a living, breathing, English speaking human who did set everything right. Until today ...

All fees waived, everything good, and then I tried to relink my bank account, which they had used, no problem, for nearly three year. Extra forces you to use Plaid - a con if ever I've seen one. Anyhow, in good faith, though extra's app forced to give plain my usernames, password, account number, routing number ... and then they tell me my bank, 8th largest in US, old account ... they don't work with plaid right now. Can I use another bank? No, I don't have another personal checking account. Can you open one? At this point, they are playing you.

like a lot of American institutions, they started out to do good and make money, but the doing good part of the equation is gone, which is what Extra hopefully is soon - gone. They're harming vulnerable people.

Extra's fault now my problem. Don't do it.

Very Good card to have if you are building your credit or would just like some rewards. Since being a member I have gotten some AirPod Pros for nearly next to nothing! Also, customer Concierge is always on top of it and never makes me wait too long for anything that I request. Haven’t had one problem. Keep up the good work!

I think the concept of the card is fantastic and it’s been how I’ve been able to build my credit thus far however it still has a lot of technical bugs to work through and fix

Extra is such a huge help since I’m just a month here in the US plus I need to build credit score. I tried different banks but got all refused, thanks to Extra for accepting. Representatives are helpful(Ken) and no long waiting. Thanks 😊
