Express Air Conditioning and Heating Scam
In 2022, I contracted Express Air Conditioning and Heating of Pensacola to replace a failing HVAC and install a high efficiency variable speed heat pump system for my home. Without my knowing, from the start, they violated the manufacture's guidelines by using an unauthorized thermostat. After install I noticed the system was not variable, either jet engine on or off. They came back once and changed a circuit board to dumb it down so they could install another unauthorized thermostat. I noticed it still wasn't what I paid for. Months of phone calls were ignored so, frustrated, I paid 3 other HVAC companies to try to get it working properly. No go because Express Air basically broke it. To get the high efficiency system I wanted, I had to bite the bullet and replace the damaged system they installed. I lost over $10,000 because of Express Air's incompetence and will forever feel for other unknowing customers who are duped by this company. I'm in an ongoing legal battle.
