The programme my daughter is on is very good. She is making alot of progress and am very happy with the package at explore learning.

I had sent my kid to Explore learning with the intension of studying for 11 plus exam. Eventually, it didn't go well for my son. One major disadvantage of sending children to explore learning is they don't give any hand materials whereas the exam is paper based. It's difficult for him to be learning all looking at screen every time. When I asked they don't do any paper based.

We had enrolled for Rugby center at Sainsbury's, Dunchurch. The space is very limited and sometimes I feel it's overcrowded. Facilities are good but I feel my kid will not be able to concentrate in this space with so many kids.

We had joined my kid in September 2025, and for the last 4 months we haven't got any materials except online learning, just the one sheet planner paper showing what all will be taught during each week. Teaching is good it seems but we were not satisfied since we were expecting some materials for practice too. For mock exams a child needs to have paper based practice as well. Doing everything online doesn't make sense. We had asked paper based materials several times but didn't get any. Even when were about to have break for the Christmas we asked for textbooks and paper materials but we were told that we have refer all online. We were disappointed by their response and decided to put up a review here and leave. If your child is okay with screen learning it is good here otherwise I wouldn't recommend your child for 11+ exams here at Explore learning.

My son absolutely loves the place and the tutors. I can see a progress.

The learning the my children have got did benefit them and give them a jump start at school, but was expensive.

Worst place i would never send my child back again. I did write a review but took it down as it first ot was sorted. Long story short, they dont care about your childs education. At first they do care then later down the line its not what it seems they tend to gossip about other students and how their progressing and where they are not. They talk with one another when they are more times meant to be at the table with the students. They dont give you proper feedback. My child did learn something at the start but now they havent learnt a thing. My child went down a set in class. They tolr me if i want feedback to go online they never told me how my child was or wasnt doing . They failed to meet my childs parent meeting its all a sham. I was warned about them before i should of listened. Now that i want a part refund which is from my childs grant they are saying they csnt. I was told by right they would need to refund it and me and them come ro an agreement
Which is now a scam as they are withholding funds as really they dont want to as its alot of funds to refund back. I was already warned that they wouldnt want to give back any as it means its losing business and funds for them.
I should have listened to other parents in the first place and not have invested my child into that centre. Another parent over the weekend contacted me and told me the same thing that theyre leaving as their childs not learning i said good.
Please please avoid Addiscombe learners at all cost . Avoid any of their centres.
The centre my child goes to now they absolutely love it and they are progressing . Oh and explore learners have been going downhill since 4-6 months ago . Now what does that say. I am not a happy parent at all i have literally beek scammed!!!!!!

My children looks forward to going, it's made a real difference.

Lovely staff, and also good results for the kids

We’ve had a great experience with Explore Learning tutor lessons. It’s amazing to be able to track the kids’ progress and clearly see their development. In a short space of time, we’ve gained more insight than we have at school, with a real focus on specific areas to help move them forward. The targeted approach allows extra attention on subjects that need development. A brilliant experience so far - highly recommend.

Leicester EL centre

I am absolutely delighted with the Leicester tuition centre and the progress my children have made since joining. The tutors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about each child’s learning and improvement. Lessons are well-structured, and concepts are explained clearly, which has really helped boost my children’s confidence and understanding in their subjects.

The learning environment is supportive and motivating, and the Tutors and Manager Lee regularly provide feedback on my children’s progress. I’ve noticed improvements not only in their academic performance but also in their attitude towards learning.

Overall, this tuition centre has been a great support for my children’s education, and I would highly recommend it to other parents looking for quality guidance and effective learning.

Additionally Lee is real asset to Explore Learning, he has gone over and beyond to meet my children’s needs and is very supportive. He has immense knowledge from working within a school and he has made a huge difference to the Leicester centre.

I had booked a trial session with Explore Learning for my child this morning (Sunday). We were ready and waiting on time, with reminders set, but after waiting patiently for 10 minutes, nobody showed up.

What’s worse, we did not receive any notification or explanation about the session being cancelled or delayed. I tried calling their phone number multiple times (at least 7–8 attempts), and although it seemed like someone picked up, the call was immediately disconnected each time.

This was a completely frustrating experience. If this is the first impression they give to potential customers, I cannot imagine what their actual classes or services are like. I would not recommend Explore Learning at all. It was a total waste of time, and very disappointing.

Staff are very helpful specially Nahal who the assistant manager was amazing explained to me all the process. My son loved the places and he gained confidence now he is doing very well.

The explore learning maintains excellent communication with parents, which I really appreciate. I always feel informed and included in my child’s learning journey. My son is truly enjoying his lessons, and it’s clear that he feels comfortable and supported in the classroom. All of the teachers are incredibly friendly, approachable, and helpful, creating a positive and encouraging environment for the students. I’m very happy with the quality of care and education he is receiving.
