Contacted Exodus security within 24 hours, still have heard nothing as of 03/30/2026. No way to talk to a live person at Exodus!

Exodus is using MoonPay as its exchange company to exchange fiat to crypto. Unfortunately this company has bad employees working in its organization. I have a PD investigation going on because of their stealing my funds directly from my bank account attached to debit card.

Big fan
Love the layout and it even notifies you when you're about to receive pending crypto. Also, it doesn't have any hidden fees when sending or buying crypto.

Excellent support, but too late after scam
I got scammed because I did not realize my account could be cloned, and updating private keys on my screen updates on BOTH screens, but the tech support helping me to understand what happened and how to protect was excellent.

Great app, works great and you can trust this wallet.
More importantly: incredibly good support. Kind, fast responses and very helpful with everything. They truly care about their customers and it's wonderful. They have helped me multiple times with everything and they are beautiful people.

Technical glitches need to be fixed
There is a glitch in the process of selecting an amount to purchase for whichever cryptocurrency is being used. It makes it very hard to choose a payment method or to proceed because it keeps jumping back to some 50 or $500 amount which is not what is being designated. It’s not easy to use. They need to fix this technical problem— because it can cause repeated attempts at the same transaction or cause it to have to be done time and again properly.
Exodus is apparently aware of this and hopes to fix it which I trust that they will otherwise it’s not so difficult to use, but there is a limit to the types of payment methods and it does not permit an easy way to designate a specific debit card from a bank without using a third-party platform, such as PayPal or MoonPay

Exodus integrates unlicensed exchange that has withheld my funds for nearly a year
I am updating my previous review because the situation has not been resolved, and new facts have emerged.
On April 21, 2025, I used Exodus Wallet's built-in Swap feature to exchange 3.08 ETH. The swap provider was automatically selected by Exodus and turned out to be Criptointercambio.com.
Here is what happened since then:
After receiving my funds, the exchange blocked them and required KYC verification, which I completed immediately.
In July 2025, they offered a partial refund of 1.13 ETH while keeping approximately $5500. I agreed to this in hopes of resolving the matter.
After I agreed, they introduced a new, impossible condition: I must locate and provide verification for a third person mentioned in an old sales contract. This person is not related to my transaction, and I have no way to contact them.
Nearly one year later, my funds remain frozen.
Why Exodus is responsible:
Exodus chose this provider and integrated them into the wallet.
Exodus profits from swaps performed through its interface.
Exodus continues to claim they are "just an interface" and refuse to take any action.
New official findings:
The Bank of Lithuania has confirmed that Criptointercambio.com does not hold a license and is not supervised by them (despite operating in the EU under MiCA regulations).
My case has been verified and is being processed by Crystal Blockchain / Scam Alert (Report reference available).
Formal complaints have been filed with:
FTC: 198403725
IC3: 5d1166b12088400c82d5e3652a91e3c4
SEC: 17723-659-390-136

Exodus previously responded to my review saying that "working directly with the swap provider should help." I have done that for nearly a year. It has not helped.
A publicly traded company should take responsibility when the partners they integrate into their product harm users. I expect Exodus to investigate this provider and assist in recovering the funds.
I have all documentation and correspondence available if needed.
Update (March,16 2026):
After contacting Exodus publicly on X, my support case was marked as “Priority” by their team. However, I am still waiting for a response from the support engineers regarding this issue, which has been ongoing since April 21, 2025.
Update(March 17 ,2026):
The provider is now demanding verification from a third party (source of funds), who is not their customer, in order to release my funds. This appears unreasonable and raises concerns about user protection.
Update(March,18 2026):
The provider now states that they cannot clarify who they consider the “actual owner of the funds,” while still demanding a third party to contact them.
Additionally, in 2025 they previously offered a partial refund, which confirms they recognized my claim. However, they later reversed their position.
This makes it impossible to comply with their requirements, as they are unclear and inconsistent.
Update(March,24 2026):
I have now traced the movement of my funds.
On April 24, 2025, the swap provider (CriptoIntercambio) sent 104.8 ETH to HitBTC Hot Wallet 4.
My funds (3.08 ETH) were part of this deposit.
Transaction: 0x25a0821d126b4fbb9424beafd235648ba35a6513745b3b59f4d523dd10b71d8d
The provider continues to claim my funds are “under AML review” while they have already moved them to an exchange.
I have reported this to HitBTC abuse.
Exodus selected this provider automatically and continues to work with them. I hope Exodus will review this case again.
I feel exodus.com needs to do more in…
I feel exodus.com needs to do more in securing all future transactions when it comes to Crypto. WHY DON'T YOU SIMPLY MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR EVERY FINANCIAL OR CRYPTO TRANSACTIONS YOU MAKE IT MANDATORY for everyone to get an SMS OTP Code before a transaction goes through ? This will keep an extra layer of confidence in exodus.... If your company is innocent of so many complains here then you will take my suggestion into consideration. SIMPLY MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR AN OTP CODE to be sent via SMS TO the number on file authorizing the transaction via the code BEFORE ANY TRANSACTION COULD GO THROUGH.
