Went to look for ladies wool jumpers. They had a few plain merino wool and cashmere jumpers, and lambswool ones but only for men! Everything else was synthetic. Very disappointing.

Gave up ordering online
I tried to order a Christmas present cashmere cardigan. At every attempt (Safari/Mac, Chrome/Mac, Safari/iPadOS and Safari/iOS) to pay the autofill of credit cards doesn't work. It loads the cardholder's name, the expiry data and the CVC but not the card number. I use this feature all the time on other sites. To add insult to injury, the payment page says EWM accepts Apple Pay but no option is presented, only credit/debit card or Paypal. Have given up and will look for an alternative.
Quick delivery, nice style, OK quality
My order of 2 jumpers arrived quickly. The sizing is good and the items are as they appear online. I'm a little unsure of the quality for the price I paid. They are well finished but I suspect they may go out of shape quickly with washing. Overall a good experience but I feel a little overpriced.

And awful American voice answers to connect to an advisor but after just over a minute she tells you none are available so call back later ! But time and time again I’ve tried and same thing. I really don’t think there is anyone there.

Beware EWM's Head Office.
The Horsham Shop is fine and Staff Members are polite and friendly. However if you wish to speak to Head Office you have a problem. They have a Tel No. to ring of 0808 202 0242. I've tried this No. throughout the day and all you get is a Woman with an American accent telling you there are no advisers available and to ring back. This is absolutely a dreadful service and moreover so frustrating. They need to get their act together and quickly.
Ordered pullover on 48 hour delivery and 408 hours later still waiting
Ordered pullover on 13/10 with 48 hour postage. I recieved a message from Evri they tried to deliver on 17/10 and that they woudl try to deliver the next day (which they did not). Contacted EWM on 24/10 to escalate (as per Evri guidance) and EWM said they would request priority delivery from Evri. It is now 2.5 weeks since my original order and I have had no update and no idea when I will recieve my pullover!
EXCELLENT service
I bought a couple of items in the Ashton-under-Lyne shop in Nottcuts garden centre. I tried on said garments in the shop, but when I decided to try again at home with something underneath, one was too tight in the sleeve. So I went back to return the item. The ladies who served me on both occasions were really professional and there was no fuss about the return, with a receipt of course. Thank you staff for a pleasant shopping experience.
Poor online experience .
Advertised online free returns . Almost impossible . After contacting customer service having explained I did not have a printer they sent me a link to Evri in order to be sent a QR code to use at the parcel shop .
Today I used their link only to find that in trying to fill out the returns form that EWM was not a company Evri recognised !
Having paid originally through Paypal makes it impossible to get a refund from one of their shops . I have decided therefore to visit one of their shops (about 10 miles away )to get an exchange as I have already wasted a lot of time and energy and have had enough.
As a matter of interest , before all of this I was sent two advertising emails by them offering discounts on their products . When I tried to make an order using the appropriate password at checkout , the website said it did not recognise it !
.So I ordered without the discount .
I have contacted customer service finally but are not expecting anything except email after email .
I will not use their website again . Their shops are very good , with helpful and friendly staff , especially the Petersfied branch . I will only buy from their shops in future .
Quality of The James Pringle polo shirts
My review is concerning the quality of the mens polo shirts. They are lovely if you only want to wear them once, but the second time after laundry they shrink. Before anyone says that I must be me when washing and drying no its not I go by the instructions and air dry never tumble dry. At first I doubted myself but when I laundry another new polo shirt exactly the same way the same result. My husband has 3 new polo shirts only worn once that he cant wear anymore because they are to short. These polo shirts are not cheap they are The James Pringle collection. I will be updating my review in the next couple of days to review how I got on when I go back to my local EWM store with the polo shirts. Update i haven't change my 1 star review for the polo shirts but I wanted to say about the ladies in the Waterlooville branch of EWM shop and how helpful they were this morning concerning the polo shirts they were very polite and patience and had to find the correct paperwork for a refund as I didn't have the receipt they put they money on a gift card which I was 100% satisfied with. Thank you ladies in Waterlooville branch of EWM you are a credit to the company you work for and I hope that they recognise that. So the 4 stars are for them not the polo shirts and excellent customer service
Please avoid the Llangollen store
Please avoid the Llangollen store. Staff actually discussed between themselves for me to hear, at full volume, that I had a wet dog and showed ‘lack of respect’! Rude, rude people who wouldn’t know customer service if it slapped them in the face. Great brand, just avoid this store if you don’t want to experience the negativity of these sorry people.
Poor delivery service
I rate Edinborough woolen mill products , however I am now limited to shopping with them online , I recently placed an order ,and paid extra for ‘ express delivery ‘ it initially came up Hermes next day , with a tracking number which was not recognised , easily explained , Hermes became Evri and although the tracking number was the same I was advised 2-4 days delivery ,that is standard delivery so why was I charged extra , I shall refrain from future orders until a more reliable courier company are employed !
I have been buying from EWM for years
I have been buying from EWM for years, and am lucky to have a shop in the next town. However, as other reviewers have said - there is no online customer service. For example, I emailed them about the length of a dress - and weeks later - there has been no reply.
Why do I buy from them? They sell lined skirts at my length, which is 27". I haven't found any other online sellers offering lined skirts as standard. Many of the designs are for older people, but the classics are good quality, although I think they are over priced so I usually wait for their sale.
If anyone from customer service reads this, which I somehow doubt from the other reviews, you have too much blue in your range!
I am waiting for a large order to arrive - I paid for 2 - 4 days delivery - so hopefully it will arrive on time. Another thing, they sent me a voucher code, which I entered, but then I realised that I could get more money off from another online offer. That seemed very wrong to me.
Shocking customer services!!!
Trying to trace my return/refund - have tried to use their online form, that is out of action. Have tried their phone number which gives me an American (!) telling me no customer advisors available and call back. The Evri tracking number is no help either as that says my parcel is on its way. Then they can't deliver. I am now going to do it the old fashioned way and put pen to paper to complain.
BEWARE HIDDEN CHARGES
Do not order online. The price quoted is nothing like the final figure. VAT is not included in the price quoted and is added right at the end together with a delivery charge which is way too much in my opinion.
Poor shop experience
Unfortunately had an encounter with 2 surly female shop assistants at Waterside Baston Peterborough.
Purchased £232 clothes pre holiday, tried them all on in store, they all fitted so did not keep receipt. One dress had a faulty neck fastening which I hadn’t noticed when I tried it on.
The usual answer no receipt can only exchange for the same or something else of current selling price as there was no proof of how much I originally paid. Of course item was now in sale.
I know and they know that for a certain time they can get a copy of receipt off their system, if you have the date of purchase off your bank statement it helps.
This was done with poor grace but because of their attitude I still got all my money back and instead of buying something else from the shop I left. They’ve lost a customer which they can ill afford to do judging by the state of the company.
Diabolical company
Absolutely diabolical company, tried to order items online, two different prices for the same item, the picture of item show one price and check out show another price, discount not applied tried to contact customer service for hours just states in American accent no agents available. Please try later.

Support for Armenian refugees
My family supports a Christian charity which provides desperately needed daily items for refugees in Armenia. We therefore buy a lot of reduced-price clothes to send out there. The shop assistants in the EWM shop in Nantwich are always so friendly, supportive & helpful. On Thursday we went into the shop because there was a sale on, & the ladies went out of their way to find good value, warm items they thought might be suitable. After just having had a less-than-welcoming reception in a local bank, the attitude of the staff in EWM was very welcome - thank you!
My hoodie never arrived
My hoodie never arrived, I would really like to know where it is, or my money back. I will never shop with these people on line ever again. Please think twice before ordering online. If there had been an option to give no stars I would of.

My elderly mum loves EWM but not available near our home, so ordered 6 skirts. One arrived incorrectly so returned and orders again, this time due to the value of one skirt had to pay delivery, it arrived again incorrect. So had the inconvenience of returning this too.
I emailed 2 weeks ago about the incorrect items and auto response said would reply in 5 working days but nothing, chased up to no avail. No answer in phone, no refund for 2 skirts at £60 plus the delivery.

Placed order for two ladies cotton shirts, realised I had put incorrect size. Contacted them immediately to ask them to change it. Can't do it once it's in system that's it. I decided to cancel order, already dispatched to click and collect as they don't appear to do home delivery anymore although it says it does on website. Now have to go to store 12 miles away to get them to return the items and then apparently I have to wait approximately 15 days for refund. My advice, don't buy anything from them online. I will never deal with them again, dreadful customer service.

Went in to your store on great george st plymouth.The staff in there are so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond for customer care.Val was so great looking for my size and length in trousers,then showing me tops that would go with them.She was also helping me to get the tops on and off without me telling her that my fibromalga was giving me lots of pain and I couldn't manage.The lady on the till was also very kind and has ordered me another top as they didnt have my size in store.
