I contacted EV Solar and Battery when I developed an issue with a system installed by another company 2 years before. I wasn’t getting much help from the installation company and EV Solar could not have been more helpful. From the initial chat, they visited my property and swiftly diagnosed the problem. They offered a cost effective solution and also talked me through all the diagnostics and resolutions.
I spoke quite a bit with the wonderful Rosie and felt so safe and like I was speaking with a friend.
That trust was not misplaced as they have completed the work recently and I now have a fully functioning system once again. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I wish I had known about them when I installed solar in the first place.
Top marks for all areas of their work.

I can not recommend Solar EV enough.

I have used them for over 6 years for servicing existing panels, adding some second hand panels to the existing ones to increase capacity & adding battery storage.

The after sales service is the best I’ve ever seen. Rosie and Anthony always go above and beyond. They are my go to for solar.

We used EV Solar initially to replace a solar inverter which had not been working from the initial phone call to Rosie who could not have been more helpful to the completion of the work by Anthony which was first class we have since used EV Solar to repair a leak in the roof which was coming from damage from the solar panel frame yet again the service was excellent I absolutely would recommend this company both Rosie and Anthony provided excellent service

I would not hesitate to recommend Antony and Rosie of EV Solar if you live in the the counties they cover. Antony really knows his stuff and Rosie is very efficient handling all the admin. I had an inverter which stopped working after 10 years and within in a week of contacting them I was back up and charging with a new inverter. I also had a panel clean and Antony is so thorough they look like new again. They are an excellent company to deal with.

When my solar stopped generating I contacted EVSolar and within 6 days they had - 1. Visited and diagnosed the issue, 2. Quoted, ordered and received replacement hardware, 3. Arranged and fitted the new inverter. Thank you Rosie and Anthony for the excellent service.

Cannot recommend highly enough

From the moment I first got in touch with EVSolar & Battery Storage and spoke to Rosie in the office, the service I received was exemplary. It was friendly and I was kept informed of what was going on at each stage and throughout the whole process; much better service than one gets from bigger businesses which would do well to copy this.

I had noticed my solar PV generation had suddenly reduced to around 50% of what I would expect. A diagnostic check was arranged for the next day. Anthony, the engineer, was very thorough and his technical knowledge was second to none, yet he was able to explain things clearly and in simple terms - I had lost one string on my array.

EVSolar arranged for scaffolding to be erected allowing Anthony to carry out the repair.

Squirrels chewing on the cable of an MC4 connector had caused a break in the string. Not satisfied with just replacing the one connector, Anthony checked the others. There were signs of gnawing on a number of the connectors, any of which could lead to yet another break. Being thorough, Anthony decided to replace all of the connectors, which was going above and beyond what I expected.

I also arranged for the panels to be cleaned and for pest protection mesh to be installed. The same care and attention was given to these jobs - even the gutter was cleaned! It didn’t stop there; the following day Anthony returned to check and retest that everything was up and running as it should.

I have nothing but praise for Rosie and Anthony of EVSolar. The fact that EVSolar is a family business and local is an added bonus (although they do serve quite a large area). I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We required a complete new solar panel system installing, as the one provided with our new build was not benefitting us at all. Anthony of EV Solar was so knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond to supply us with the best system for us. Including linking the solar to our hot water supply. In turn this has helped us immensely with the reduction of our electricity bill. The aftercare assistance has been amazing and Anthony is always on hand to help and advise. We thoroughly recommend Anthony and EV Solar & Battery Storage Ltd. We recommended the company to friends, who have also gone on and used EV Solar, who have also been very happy and impressed with the service provided. The company can be trusted and relied on 100%.

Ev solar has given us a fantastic , supportive & reliable service. Everything has been done to such a high standard, & the follow up support has been excellent. We also had to try & get a replacement solar invertor as ours was broken but still under guarantee). Rosie wrote many, many emails and helped us to finally secure a replacement. Thank you.

This excellent Company installed a 8.2kw Battery Storage solution for us in June 2022. The communication with the Company before, during, and post installation was absolutely excellent. They are incredibly responsive, attentive, and proactive. They are an extremely ethical and customer focussed Company.

The Battery Storage installation was exemplary. Although there was an issue with the Battery Inverter after a few months, this was proved by the EV Electrician and finally replaced by the supplier.

I also now have the Solar + Battery installation serviced by the Company which is extremely thorough and comprehensive.

The Company are also extremely unconditionally helpful, providing very useful impartial advice on products and services.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for Solar/Battery installations and also support and maintenance.

I am so glad we came across EV Solar. They are efficient, easy to communicate with, and know what they are doing. We feel as though we have a personal relationship with Rosie in the office and Anthony who can do anything with a solar panel installation. They have rescued us when our system packed up, and now we have them in for a regular system inspection, and even a panel clean. Great firm!

If I could award six stars, I would……I have had an installation of a car charger and some troubleshooting on my solar inverter (that had been installed by another company sometime ago) and was causing me stress. The engineer (Anthony) diagnosed the fault and fixed the problem very quickly. He was very helpful with the choices of car charger as I hadn’t realised that there are different options with varying degrees of ‘smartness’. He patiently took me through all the choices which enabled me to make the right choice for my situation here. Anthony worked quickly and cleanly and has a wealth of experience and expertise. I thoroughly recommend EVsolar from the very first contact with the office manager to the final installation.

I found these guys when my solar panels stopped working and I discovered that my installers had gone bust. They were prompt and professional and not only fixed my problem, but persuaded the manufacturer to give me a refund. Since then they have serviced my solar system on an annual basis. I realised that my solar was not producing, I found EV solar on a Google search. I found booking my appointment with Rosie extremely easy and she was full of knowledge. Our Engineer was Ant who was punctual and very friendly and helpful. The job was completed within the time frame discussed and it was left in a tidy and clean manner. Would recommend EV Solar for any Solar work needed.
