The Every Child Needs A Mentor Masterclass was a brilliant, well structured training course that equips you with the skills necessary to mentoring as a career, or even day to day life. Definitely would recommend!

Valuable and insightful experience. The course provided a clear structure for mentoring and helped me better understand the different stages of the mentoring relationship, I particularly appreciated the personal reflection which made me stop and think more deeply about myself, the person behind the mentor. This was powerful. The masterclass has given me a strong foundation as I prepare to step into mentoring.

The session open me to the possibility of structured and formal mentoring and the benefits in school community.

The Mentor’s Masterclass was just what I needed!

Before starting, I felt confused and unsure which direction to go in. Working through the ECNM Masterclass workbook and watching Herman’s videos brought me so much clarity. It helped me understand myself on a much deeper level and taught me the real value of self-awareness. Going through it gave me space to reflect, connect the dots, and begin figuring out who I truly am.

It also opened my eyes to what young people go through and how much they need positive role models in their lives. I highly recommend this course if you have children or work with young people — it really helps you understand what some of them might be facing. We often think a child is okay because they smile, but deep down they could be struggling with something painful.

The workbook gives great tips on how to tackle the root rather than just the fruit, and helps you see when to pick your battles.

Overall, I believe everyone needs a mentor in their life — whether in a professional setting or not. This Masterclass is the perfect place to start. You never know whose life you might impact with the wisdom you gain from it — and at the same time, you’ll discover how much it helps you grow too.

I am extremely thankful that ECNM created this course. Learning from Herman, has been insightful. Every time I think about ECNM, I get excited. Brilliant! A breath of fresh air, finally a mentoring course that takes an innovative and informed approach to mentoring with a pre-active and aspirant foundation, chock full of positive vibes and structured so well it leaves you feeling well prepared and equipped to jump right into mentoring! Well thought out and presented and everything was laid out clearly and concisely! So pleased I made the best decision ever to join the course! I’m sure it will keep going from strength to strength!

The Masterclass experience was revolutionary for me as an individual and as a mentor. This is because it provides so much depth on exploring your own self-awareness. The self aspect was enlightening for me as it gave me an opportunity to reflect and develop a greater understanding of myself. No other course has ever given me the knowledge and self development on this level and it exceeded my expectations. Herman was very professional and truly is the mentor of mentors on this masterclass. The group sessions were interactive and enjoyable. Also the modules are in segments so you can do the course around your schedule. This course has made such a difference to my life and enabled me to start working as a mentor straight away.

An enlightening experience with the masterclass, pinpointing every bit of what it takes to be a mentor, focusing on the rewarding side as well as the potential challenges.
It has given me the tools needed to be a good mentor and a guideline to produce the best possible results.
The training has been effective and confidence building, having a voice and a face to put to the mentor behind the mentor made it feel more engaging and real than a normal training video, though the masterclass may feel long it is necessary and stays relevant to the skills needed to be a mentor.

When beginning the mentoring master class I did not know what to expect as I have undergone various training in similar fields but what I can now say is that this Master class with Herman truly stands out. The class gave me language to ideas and thoughts I hold in the space of mentoring children and young people, it introduced new ideas and ways of thinking to me and was not only about engaging with the mentees. It included self reflection and awareness of our own journeys as mentors which I feel is vital in this kind of work. The breakdown and structure of the Masterclass flows nicely and the topics covered were relevant and insightful. I would def recommend.

The mentoring masterclass was a terrific course and Herman delivered all the information perfectly. This course was exceptional for me I learned so much about mentoring I did not know and it’s enhanced my skills further to maybe move into a different career prospect of maybe going into mentoring and it also helped me to understand my children better. The experience was great as it was online and the timings of the sessions fit in perfectly to my schedule. Also Herman my facilitator was very accommodating and reassured me that he was available whenever I needed him. What I learnt in the Masterclass is what I use in my mentoring sessions today. It was a very positive experience for me and great to learn about the real meaning of 'mentoring' and the mindset to have whilst being a mentor. It was also very interesting to learn the 5 core truths about young people who are selected for the mentoring programme and what a good mentor should provide. Like I said I learnt a lot from this Masterclass and would highly recommend any individual who is thinking about doing mentoring or is doing mentoring to definitely take the Masterclass as it is very beneficial and you learn things which can be put into practice straight away.

We referred our child to this service upon a recommendation by another parent. The whole process from assessment to ending was well thought of in terms of structure and sensitivity involving us parents. There was honesty and what felt like genuine care for our child's success. Her mentor was flexible to meet our child's needs, arrived to sessions on time and produced a follow-up report following the session.
