Evergen Solar Reviews 

My advice when looking for a solar panel provider is avoid companies that advertise fake 'subsidies' and send a salesperson initially. They insisted both homeowners were there which suggested a hard sell. When I said that wasn't possible they weren't interested and cancelled the visit. I've since arranged with another company who are sending a surveyor which will be followed up by a quote - like any normal job. The subsidy that Evergen check you qualify for is just an internal finance agreement, not a grant - so a sales tactic. A disappointing interaction overall.

Excellent work on install neat and tidy with freindly installers

From placing the order with Ahmed through to today’s installation, Evergen took care of everything and it ran like clockwork. After we placed the order, I reached out to Ahmed with a few additional questions about the kit we’d be getting - he sent the information over promptly and also called to check he’d covered everything. We were then handed over to the operations team to progress the order, who kept in touch via phone calls and emails. Contact was always clear, helpful and polite. The EPVS validation of our order arrived within 48 hours. The installation ran very smoothly and comprised a team of scaffolders (beforehand), solar panel fitter and two electricians. Before work started on installation day, the fitters reconfirmed the details of our order and we physically walked through parts of the installation and they explained what would go where etc. We opted for the inverter/battery installation in the loft with the connection coming down the outside wall of the house to the mains. They laid extra boarding in the loft and the installation is a very neat job indeed! At the end of the installation, I set up the ShinePhone on my app and the electrician took me through its main features - it was also a great way to check everything was working as expected. It’s our responsibility to dispose of the packaging from the installation, and all of the boxes were left neatly on the driveway for me to take care of later on. The fitters were great guys and a pleasure to have on site. We’re delighted with our Evergen experience so far and the quality of workmanship. We can’t wait to see how the panels perform for us.

Evergen solar were meant to fix my solar panel this week and the scaffolding was done last night, o ly for me to receive a call that its been rescheduled for the 5th. I've made myself available all week and nobody turns up at my door, the fact that they are even insisting that their guys came to my address and gave me a call annoys me. There's no missed call on my phone and I was at home all day yesterday. They way it was handed was shameful and now the scaffolding will stand in front of my house for further 2weeks, how will I even park my car? Pathetic

Installation team of Anthony, Brad and Louis were absolutely brilliant - arrived on time, friendly and professional throughout the installation, kept work areas clean and tidy during and after their work, took as much time as I needed to install and get me up and running up the app, answered all my questions. I really cannot fault them they are a cracking team and made me feel at ease with something I knew very little about other than what I had learned during the sales visit. A credit Evergen. Thank you gents!

Anthony, Brad and Louis have been a pleasure to have on site and they are superb fitters. They explained everything fully and kept me posted during the installation. Such a friendly and polite team, who also cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Evergen. The whole experience has been pretty seamless apart from my 1 metre 270 year old wall that they had to drill through…they got there in the end. Thanks guys. 🙏

We recently had a home visit from one of your sales representatives regarding a solar installation.

While the representative was polite, we found the sales approach far too high pressure. The visit lasted over three hours, and despite us explaining several times that we wanted to compare quotes before making a decision, we felt we were repeatedly encouraged to sign on the day.

We were told the quoted price was only available that day, were asked to pay a deposit to secure it, and the price was later reduced during the visit. We were also not left with a written quotation or specification to compare with other installers, which made it difficult to make an informed decision.

As customers considering a significant investment of around £14,000–£15,000, we believe it is entirely reasonable to take time to compare quotations and discuss the purchase before committing.

We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a less pressurised sales approach would have left us with a much more positive impression of your company.

Installers were polite considerate, explained everything simply.
They cleaned up after them selves and were courteous through out.

They never swore or cussed like the scaffolding men did…

Paul, Richard & Jed were very friendly, informative and polite keeping us updated on everything they were doing. Communicated well and respectful of property while undertaking various phases of the installation.

Overall, its been a good experience, solar is something that we've been thinking about for a long time, so these guys came along at the right time, the sales guy was a bit abrupt but it is the product that sold it really.
The rest of the team, really good, but, a special mention has to go to the installers.
Anthony (Jinx) and Brad, absolutely brilliant, their professionalism and customer service was second to none, the entire time they were here, they engaged with myself and my seven year old son, keeping us included in the process, when decisions were needed for the install process, they made sure that it was explained in language that I could understand, personally, I feel that these guys should be commended.
We have had the full solar package installed, panels, invertor and battery, however, there was a fault with one part, the Datalogger had a failing in its attachment, the team went through this with me, showed me the problem, made one call, to which I received a follow up call half an hour later letting me know that a new one was on its way, the part arrived the next day.
Now, I made it clear that I could fit this myself, its literally a USB Dongle, yet, they were fully prepared to send a team to fit it for me if I wanted.
So, let me be clear, there are a plethora of installers out there, we have been bitten before, we bought windows from SafeStyle, dont get me started on those cowboys..
But, the experience with these guys here, awesome. Yes the sales guy wasn't the best, he explained everything well, he was well presented and clearly knew the product well, he did do us a good deal, so I cant really fault him there, it's more of a personality clash.
Background team, really good, and the installers, Anthony and Brad, all I can say is if you buy your solar from Evergen, ask for Anthony and Brad to do your install, excellent team.

Evergen had a good reputation but insisted on a visit to the property, and then developed a hard-sell tactic over nearly three hours.
We gleaned some very useful information and tips from the interview, which has helped us since, but the overall experience left a very nasty taste in our mouth, feeling like we had almost been assaulted in our own home.
Unless Evergen change their sales tactic, I'd avoid them.

Extremely disappointing experience.
Very good on selling and they are actually polite on customer service but they don't resolve.
For more than six months, we have been trying to get our charger/discharger settings configured correctly so that the system operates in line with our tariff. Despite numerous phone calls and repeated attempts by the support team, the issue remains unresolved.
The system continues to export energy at the wrong times, causing us to lose money consistently. Based on our tariff, we should be earning significantly more from our exports, yet we have been missing out on those earnings for over half a year. This has had a real financial impact on us.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that every time we contact support, they make changes that appear to fix the issue, but only for a day or two. After that, the system reverts back to the same problem, and we are forced to start the process all over again.
After six months of chasing, explaining the same issue repeatedly, and seeing no permanent solution, our confidence in the service is extremely low. We expected a reliable system and competent support, but instead have experienced ongoing inconvenience, frustration, and financial loss.
I would not recommend this service based on our experience.

The feeder to the PV system tripped due to overload which produced an undervoltage alarm on the inverter. I requested help from Evergensolar the installers of the system. After a series of questions and tablet photos they informed me that they were unable to respond remotely by digital link and suggested I contact the inverter manufacturer. Having studied the manual I was able to identify the undervoltage as having been caused by the tripping of the breaker feeding the PV system.I then managed to restart the system. At no time was I offered the service of an engineer/technician to identify and correct the fault. I also lost about a week of power generation.I would expect an installer to offer an after sales service.
