Avoid this company. You won't get what you pay for. Their sales reps lie to get you to commit. Despite having a competing quote for 3k cheaper, the sales rep said they offer double the warranty which compensates the extra cost. We asked him to clarify this 3 times. The paperwork didn't arrive until 6 weeks later and the warranty period is not what he said it would be. The company will not investigate because the sales conversation is not documented anywhere. Dishonest company.

I was so disappointed and angry after reading positive reviews and being told on the phone that there would be no 'hard sell' and I would be under no obligation to commit during the home visit!

The sales rep himself was fine, but after calling his manager and putting me on speaker, the manager told me 'If you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' if I placed the order today, despite having said twice I would not be making a decision immediately as I need some time to review the options and consider what is best for me.
I'm so angry to have been put in that position. As a single mother with 2 children, I was pushed to commit there and then at a cost of thousands, without the ability to consider it. Disgusting behaviour from the sales team.

George and james were very good and considerate while fitting the solar panels and didn't even realise they had been with how tidy they left everything

James and George arrived at a perfect time nice and early. Both very cheerful chaps who worked very well. Tidy work, professionally done. Explained how it all worked and what to expect afterwards.

Absolutely not recommending. It’s not just bad service it’s no service at all. Fitters don’t really know stuff what they fitting. No commission, no tech support. As soon you sign form so they can get there money you will never hear from them. Office, will never call you back. Customer care not exist. Equipment cheep Chinese crap which is locked. So if I want to change inverter batteries are locked to that particular brand. The only thing what they care is your money. As soon they get them you will never hear anything from them. My biggest mistake at a moment. Definitely NO !!!!!!!

Didn't call to confirm appointment the following day, and failed to turn up on the day. Got up early and went out to get milk in anticipation of the visit aswell. No phone call to cancel, rearrange or even to apologise. Well there you go, they've missed out on a sale that was a dead cert given that I haven't got the time to shop around. Their loss.

Very good experience. Ethan was very capable and very helpful. He explained the app well.
Roofers, i didn’t catch his name but again rapid work and no fuss.

The contacted me to make an appointment. They phoned the day before to confirm the date and time and that my wife and I had to be present during the visit.The appointment was for 2pm and was informed they could be up to 30 minutes to allow for delays. Fair enough. When 3:30 pm came I tried ringing back the number from the previous day that had rung to confirm. Number unobtainable. Will definitely be not using this company

Anthony and Paul did a fantastic job of the solar system and were cracking lads. I am very happy with the job.

Very poor service. I was receiving between 2/3 calls a day from all different numbers with no voicemails left to say who they were. I don't always answer to numbers I don't know. When I did answer the phone, we then went ahead and booked an appointment for someone to come out to the house and take us through everything. They were amendment me and my husband both had to be there, so we moved things around in our work dairy's to make sure we were.
The day of the appointment they were a no show, no call or email nothing. Still to this day we haven't heard from them. They were happy to pester you when it suited them, but when they don't turn up you don't hear from them again.

I’m delighted with my new solar panels, battery and inverter from Evergen. Everyone was professional, polite and friendly, and the installation was efficient, tidy and completed to a high standard, including the scaffolders. The main guy also took the time to explain how everything worked, including the app, which gave me complete confidence. Excellent service from start to finish including the aftercare— I highly recommend Evergen!

Really good, only 4 stars due to logistics in delivery not matching so the installers had to come back 3 times instead of fitting all in 1 visit.
But was kept informed by them and all working well now, installers themselves were really good

It all started when we were sold the system. Man who came told us that he was a commercial engineer, not a salesperson so the price he offered did not have the sales commission on, but we could only get that price if we signed up there and then. That should have been the red flag that made us stop but stupidly agreed to go ahead due to the pressure tactics used.

We were told when we were sold the system that the battery and inverter would go in the loft. When the installers came they said it had to go in the garage which was fine, but we did warn them that the garage has problems with leaks in heavy rain, water runs down the garage walls and it has flooded before. They said this is fine as all the kit is waterproof.

Our install at the end of March went fine and the engineers who carried it out were nice enough.

Shortly after the installation, a slate tile fell from the roof next to where the solar panels were fitted. We were lucky it did not hit either of us as we were outside when it fell. Following this I went into the loft and could see sunlight coming through the holes left in the roof everywhere the panel brackets were fitted to the rafters.

I contacted evergen to get the roof repaired and they told me it would be done on the day I contacted. This was back in April. Near the end of the day the roofer contacted me directly via whatsapp to say he could not make it and to reschedule. He then promised he would come a further 8 times, but never came. I had to stay at home each of these times to grant access so lots of time off work.

I then got back in contact with Evergen (we are in June now), who kept saying they would arrange someone to come. I kept calling and kept getting the same response.

Finally on the 19th August I was told a team would be coming the following week on 26th.

Then on the Friday 21st August, we had a bad storm with heavy rain. As I had warned we had water running down the garage walls all over the inverter and isolators and the garage floor flooded. They installed our battery on the floor so this was under approximately 5 inches of water for around an hour. We switched off all the isolators and fuses, but could not switch off the battery itself (which was fully charged) since the battery power button is blocked by cables.

Evergen does not have an out of hours contact number so I called first thing on Monday to report the problem and was assured that the team scheduled to come on Wednesday 26th August would be here first thing in the morning, fix the roof, check the system was safe to switch back on and move the battery to a wall mount.

Wednesday morning came and the battery wall mount was delivered, yet no team showed up.

I contacted evergen again and after a few hours and multiple phone calls was told the roofer had called in sick, and the electrician would not come alone. I stressed that the system needed to be checked since the battery was underwater and is still switched on but was told there was nothing they could do and it would have to be rescheduled. Another day of work missed for no reason and now have to wait longer to check that the system is safe, so more days of anxiety ahead. No rescheduled date has been provided.

Honestly this company does not care one bit once they have completed the install and have your money. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, let alone my friends. Steer well clear.
