Warning for others this firm break UK law

Delivered a completely mashed up damaged cap which looked like it had been run over, I provided pictures of the damage and stains - they offered a discount and said the cap would regain its shape (no mention of the stains and other damage) and 2 weeks on its still a crumpled mess.

They are now saying it is my cost to return the item despite this being against UK law

If based in the UK or Europe the please do not use

I should’ve read the reviews before…

I should’ve read the reviews before ordering. Now after I received my hat, I checked the reviews. Seems we all have the same complaint when it comes to hats. It does come in an envelope. It does come crushed. The little plastic guard on the inside of the hat was crushed. Do not order from this company.
They did email me back right away. They did not ask for pictures from me. It did take a long time to get my hat but every time I reached out about tracking, they responded right away. That’s the only thing good with this company that I’ve experienced.

Evanston Marsh: Scammers

Evanston Marsh says they produce high quality sun glasses, which they DO NOT produce. They are a scam company that claims to have sent you your product and they do not. They cover themselves saying that they are checking with the shipping company. This is a lie. They do absolutely nothing. Yes they do respond to your emails, always telling you the same thing: that they are working with the shipping company to resolve the issue, which is completely untrue. I kept asking, and they kept responding with the same answer. After four months of patiently waiting and expecting my product, I finally saw through the scam: They NEVER intended to ship the "lost" glasses. So I emailed them 2 weeks ago warning them that if I did not receive my glasses before the end of february (I ordered them in early October 2025) I would publish a negative review about them. That is when they stopped responding to my messages. So there you have it. This is a scam company, a fraud and a bunch of liars. NEVER order from this company

Worst product ever

Worst product ever. The hat was delivered in an enveloppe!! Its all bend. I send picture to get a refund and they told me that after review of the picture the hat was find!! Never again

This is a scam website.

I can verify that all of the other reviews you see on here are true. They sent me a cheap plastic hat, which was, smashed and destroyed, and similar quality to a dollar store party hand out. Tried returning and they are giving me the run around. I initiated the return the day I received the hat, and have been back and forth through emails with them trying to bargain for me to keep the item. Now what 15 days have passed they are denying the return, saying their return policy is 15 days and has expired. Do not buy. I am disputing the charges.

Scam

It’s a scam, should have looked for reviews. They send a $2 hat, it eventually arrives via snail mail, customer complains, they offer a 30% discount, expects customer to give up, take the discount and they profit anyway. They do offer the option to send the hat back at the customers expense. Wouldn't recommend it, I would expect they would claim it didn’t arrive and keep your money. use pay pal or your credit card company to get your money back if you have bought from the already and are just finding out they scammed you as well.

I ordered a hat from Evanston Marsh

I ordered a hat from Evanston Marsh, and it showed up completely crushed and unusable because they shipped it in a thin, soft mailer instead of a box. I immediately sent them photos of the damage, expecting them to do the right thing — but instead, they argued over giving me a full refund.

They started by offering 30%, then 50%, then finally 60%, all while admitting the issue but refusing to send a prepaid return label. They wanted me to pay out of pocket to return a defective item that arrived destroyed. That’s not how a legitimate business operates.

Their own policy says to contact them immediately if an item is damaged so they can “make it right.” I did exactly that, and they still refused. I’ve now filed a dispute through my credit card company because I’ve lost all trust in this business.

Save yourself the headache — if anything goes wrong with your order, they will not take responsibility. Poor packaging, terrible service, and zero accountability.

This package was shipped from China, received by USPS in Chicago. I track the USPS number and it shows postage isn’t paid and has been held by them for over a week. Evanston doesn’t respond to any of my emails from the last 4 days. I called their phone number and doesn’t go anywhere. Very disappointed.

I REGRET HAVEN'T SEE THE REVIEW ON ANTHONY MAY

I order golf shoes under the order #6610, the quality of the delivery material si ridiculously cheap.
The product looks cheap but don't so bad , but very bad that I order a size 8.5 American, and they send me a 40 European , my size normally is a 42 European , so of course, the size didn't fit me, but the WORST is that you cannot exchange or refund it because you need to send and email that they never answer and in the phone number that comes in the page, there is no form to communicate, so let me tell everybody that is is a SCAM I don't see other way. I regret to myself that I have not see the review of Anthony May, I hope new customers see the this review before the buy

Not a Review but I just wondering when I’m gonna get my sunglasses….. I have heard nothing ….. every time I call they say the phone numbers been disconnected …..when I email it’s returned as undeliverable $42.73 was removed from my bank account and I have not heard a thing

Evanston Marsh = trashy drop-shippers

Evanston Marsh appear to be one of the worst, albeit legitimate, drop-shippers I've ever experienced. The product that arrived was nominally acceptable, but it was cheap Chinese trash with random meaningless branding on it, absolutely no Evanston Marsh branding. Big reminder to be wary of Facebook ads.

EDIT 1: You say you never received an order from me, however this is not surprising, I used Apple’s email-relay service (siesta-remakes0l@). I can click on ‘View your order’ and it takes me to https :// www dot evanstonmarsh dot com /+long string of digits correctly showing my order details, so I’m pretty sure I ordered from ‘Evanston Marsh’! Nice try, though! 🖕🏻

EDIT 2: Evanston Marsh have used a Trustpilot 'feature' where I'm asked to confirm my order-number and identity details, with an implied threat (from TrustPilot's wording) that if the vendor consider my review to not be legitimate, my review might be hidden. Interesting. So I provided my order-number and full name.

EDIT 3: Evanston Marsh replied:
"Our primary focus is to ensure customers satisfaction is being delivered. It is hard to respond to feedback when you do not provide full details on a rude, negative, 2 star comment. We live off our ratings and value feedback so we can make any experience the best. "When it came to your Carlsbad Corduroy Joggers, could you clarify what you did not like about the product? From our understanding, the material and branding?"

Oh my, how very dare I provide a rude 2-star review! *gasp* You appear to have a reading comprehension problem as well; re-read my initial review (scroll up!) with a fresh mind, it's all there.

"Please note, that we work with vendors and suppliers that provide the designs and products as we do not throw our brand name on every product we provide."

Errr, lolwut? So, you sell some stuff on your store that *does* have your branding on it, and some stuff that does *not* have your branding on it? OK, but I'm not sure what you'd like me to conclude from that statement. Do you actually NOT want your branding on some items? Why would that be? If this is in fact the case, your store does not appear to discriminate - visually or in writing - which products do and don't feature your own branding. Not exactly a warm fuzzy feeling I'm getting here.

Your domain-name has existed for about 3 months, so you're new to the drop-ship regime.

There is nothing "misleading" about my review. You supplied the product I ordered (shipped in the cheapest of China Export grey plastic bag), so you're 'legit'. You got my money, you delivered something well under the quality and branding I was expecting, so you get to keep my money, but you also get this review. That's how it works. Don't like it? Do better.
