Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.

Incorrect delivery date estimate
"Stating a 5-working-day delivery time for the EU is unrealistic. I am on my fourth purchase, and Ingersoll has never met this estimated delivery time on any of my previous or recent orders. To illustrate, my last order was placed on August 14th and is now expected to arrive between September 2nd and 3rd, which is actually 12–13 working days."

Customer support is the worst I ever seen. They told me it is my problem and I should figure out the case with GLS on my own, but they withdrew my money immediately at the order date.

The strap was too hard to wear instead of giving compensation they charged the return postage, o thought it is an English company , but now I came to know it is kind of Chinese manufacturer having less quality products.
Their machines in automatic watches being manufactured in China.

Ingersoll1892 - You can trust in both Service and Quality
The availability and support of Ingersoll have been outstanding, in particular during the management of the shipment, a bit complex having to go through the Customs.
My suggestion is to provide customers out of UK with more details about the shipment process and linked requirements (i.e. the need to provide the Tax ID to the local courier in order to avoid a significant delay with customs release).

Received Damaged Watch – Mechanism Not Working
I received the watch with a broken mechanism — it doesn’t work at all. In my opinion, watches should be properly checked before shipping. Very disappointed with the quality control.

After only 2 month that i bought the…
After only 2 month that i bought the watch i already sent it twice for repair. The second time the are asking me 105£ fo fix the stripe because it went off by it selfe, i didn hit the watch anywhere. Avoid this company
