Miraculous Birth & Growth of a New Nation

With fascination, excitement, this course teaches the formation of a new nation. To learn how peoples worldwide gather and work together as one -- it boggles the mind. How was/is it done? Why? Through an instructor, born and raised in Israel, who exudes and infects the beauty, knowledge, pride and love of her country to others, this course is worthwhile investing in. Not only for knowledge but the fascination to learn how a worldwide population work together to become a cohesive nation. Because Israel is still in its youth, taking this course in a sense, would be part of its history.

Easy going yet professional

This course is private lessons with Ronit Itzchak. Ronit is very friendly and encourages when this is appropriate. She is very personable and engages with conversation both in Hebrew and in English. Ronit is an excellent all-round teacher.

I can recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Ivrit.

There is ample time for students to practice pronunciation. The lecturer concentrates completely on the specific course material and they finish each unit during the semester. The textbooks are also of a high standard, written with great precision. Finally, there is nothing better than learning a language from native speakers.

Ulpan 6 for Credit!

This is the first Ulpan I’m taking for credit. I enjoy the class exercises and conversations. Anat keeps it interesting and I’m impressed at how much patience she has to put up with our struggles to speak Hebrew. I read Hebrew e-books to increase vocabulary and learn colloquial Hebrew, but the pressure of having to express yourself in class in front of others really accelerates learning.

The teacher makes all the difference

I really enjoy the material we are reviewing and the level of detail given to the Hebrew. I learn something new each class. My teacher Danielle approaches the text from a linguistic, historic, and literary point of view which appeals to a broad audience and adds so much depth to the scripture.

The Gifts Of Learning

I have been able to learn from some of the best teachers from all over the world. I've made friends in other countries. My ability to study and understand Scripture has gone from grey-scale to Technicolor. My whole life has been completely transformed in the best ways in the last 5 years.

What do you wonder on?

Do you wonder how the Christ child was received? What the history and culture of the land was, leading up to his birth? What his ministry was affecting at that time? Learning Hebrew was my intent, but I found so much more available to accentuate my belief in Christ Jesus. Here is where you can find ALL this and much more.

I am learning to understand Hebrew and I usually take the same course again to make sure that the Hebrew words and meeting engrained in my brain.
Ruth Tartut Ulpan 3 has been amazing plus, being patient with me. If I asked a question she makes sure that I understand what I had questioned I could be in her classroom forever. .
She is the best in my books.

Excellent all round Service.

I have now started Ulpan 4, having started at Ulpan 1 just over two years ago. The lesson presentations are very good quality and the interactive lessons aid learning. I have thoroughly enjoyed my Hebrew learning experience to date and the customer service is always prompt, helpful and friendly. The technology always works as well which is a bonus. I would fully recommend Rosen School of Hebrew.

Since being a student of Biblical Hebrew at the Institute of Biblical Studies - I understand that the program is excellent for a student beginning in Biblical Hebrew and working through to a knowledge of grammar, in learning to read and understand Hebrew. The insight you gain from the program is invaluable. The Instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Studying the culture

Studying the culture, the people, the mind set of the people through biblical times- let's me see who and how Yeshua and His message is for now and why and how. Studying into the root words of Torah and contemplating the message that comes out of the definitions as we study, is just WOW!!!!!! As the instructors gently, patiently lead each and every one of us through the Torah and linguistic journey is sooooo inspiring.

Unscrupulous

I'm clearing out a bunch of old paper work and found a file from 2015 of me disputing charges from this company. I had forgotten about it, but enough to remember that I enrolled but my class was more than 6 months away as it was the next available class on Biblical Hebrew. No mention that it was a 24 hour cancelation policy. Didn't even mention it in their email to me but provided a link for further information.

They admitted they do not disclose their cancelation policy. To me if you are reputable you say, we are sending you an email to confirm your enrollment and contractual agreement. Please review it immediately as we have a 24 hr cancelation policy.

No such thing was said. When I got the email and clicked on the link, it took me to a registration page, that I didn't have time to fill out at that time, so I closed the email, still unaware of the cancelation policy.

I ended up losing my job because my patient relocated to Oregon. I was doing full time private in home care. And the extended family wanted to sell their property and move their mother, along with themselves closer to other family. I'm very rural so those jobs are not plentiful. I called to cancel with the class being 6 months in the future and they refused. They had charged me $540.00 and would charge me 67.08 for the remaining months up until the class began, 7 months addition charges.

Why am I sharing this 9 years later...because they were a nightmare to deal with. They claimed I had accessed their course materials. I had not. I had only accessed a registration page...which still did not have the cancelation policy and I never saw the course materials. I provided everything to my credit card company and won. But I'm telling you to be careful. It was a very high pressured sales call where I explained my job was ending but the sales person was...its okay it always works out.
Not a trust worthy company in my opinion.

I was enrolled in a class and was…

I was enrolled in a class and was enjoying it very much, so no problems with the teacher or the content of the class. However, I had ordered product and paid for said product on April 11, 2024 and had not received any by July 16, 2024. I have many calls in and tracking numbers ect. Due to the nature of the evasion on the customer service department I became concerned that I had been scammed and became disillusioned from trusting this company. I was signed up and making payments on upcoming courses starting in September when I was notified that the courses were 3 hours each in length. This was news to me as my ongoing course was an hour. I cannot commit 3 hours at a time to the courses and tried to cancel. I have since been kicked out of my ongoing course, have not received the books that are still paid for and owing to me and I was charged an exorbitant amount on my credit card for courses I am not going to take. Plus, I cannot connect with anyone to have this resolved. This has take up too much of my time and ruined my day. Is there a resolution??? Or have I been totally scammed.. Under your advice on how to write a review all statements are true.
