Great experience for the price
The entire process was simple. You reach out to them and they communicate via WhatsApp, asking you to send pictures so they can get a basic idea of how many grafts you will need.
Once your flights are booked, your appointment is scheduled and the hotel is included in the price of the procedure.
Communication was not over the top, but for the price I was not expecting this to feel like the Ritz Carlton. People who expect that level of service, especially at this price point, usually do not have the resources for it in the first place and tend to be entitled.
Taxi service was also included in the price. The driver was friendly and punctual for every pickup and drop off.
As far as the clinic goes, I would describe it as an in and out experience. If you are expecting to be pampered and have your hand held the entire time, go to a large clinic in Turkey or pay 15 to 30k in the United States to get that level of attention. You will not get that here.
The staff were friendly throughout the experience. Every employee I interacted with was from Turkey. One thing I did not realize beforehand is that using a credit card comes with a 10 percent upcharge.
They also offer PRP after the procedure and I would strongly recommend it. The science is clear regarding the healing benefits of PRP, and with something as fragile as a hair transplant, you want to do everything possible to ensure graft survival.
The procedure itself was close to 8 hours, so prepare for a very long day in a chair. After graft extraction, I was given a 15 minute break to eat a sandwich and drink some juice. I was hesitant about eating it, but it was actually really good and I ate the entire thing before we got back to work on the implants.
They numb you well, so the procedure is mostly painless. The first few injections are a little spicy, but nothing unbearable. They just remind you that you are alive.
At the end, they provide all required medications along with written instructions for the next 10 to 14 days, which is the most critical period for the new follicles to take root.
The hotel is a hotel, if you know what I mean. If my wife had been with me, we would have stayed somewhere nicer, although plenty of couples do stay there for procedures. Bring your own shampoo and soap if a tiny bar of soap is not enough for you.
I travel around 250 days a year for work, and pillows can make or break my comfort. While the hotel was not 4 star or higher, the bed and pillows were more than sufficient. The mini split worked perfectly and I was able to keep the room at my preferred temperature for the entire 3 day stay.
There are plenty of food options within walking distance of the hotel, which made things very convenient since I chose to spend most of my post procedure time resting.
I had my procedure on Saturday, took Sunday off, returned Monday morning for my first wash, and was then shuttled to the airport to head back to Texas. After 3 weeks, I have had zero issues. My hairline looks great and I am now going through the normal regrowth phase.
I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who does not want to fly 13 hours to Turkey and also does not need constant hand holding. If you are realistic about expectations, this place delivers exactly what it promises.
