Interactive and Hand-held Step-by-Step

The course felt like an interactive adaptation of a wonderful college essay book I read—but Ryan also added his own insights. His unique perspective helped me make tweaks to my essays that, after re-reading, I can say have made the writing at least 10X stronger. Also, I loved the little tips he added, like printing the essay on paper and marking it up while reading. Really helpful. Also, I liked that he tackled both sides of the word limit conundrum. Often, resources speak about reducing word count, but he also tackled my issue: too few words.

Each video is masterfully crafted—and easily digestible. With the age of Gen Z and TikTok videos, I found the average seven-minute video runtime the perfect length. Some of your videos were a bit longer at 16 minutes, but that's OK since those videos often listed suggestions for improving specific parts of the essay. The entire course is self-paced. And each video is accompanied by a cheatsheet that feels like a complete premium package—tackling both the main personal statement and supplementals.

The course was fantastic and incredibly helpful in getting me to a final draft that I am sooooo proud of. 10/10 course!

At first I did not believe that this…

At first I did not believe that this editing service was useful, but after 1 review, I realized how many shortcomings I have in my essays. Of course, there is no limit to perfection, but knowing your mistakes is a great opportunity to improve your essays and increase your chances of getting into the university of your dreams.
