Good experience
I rented a board, it was quite good and the price was ok. The beach was a bit far from the school but it was ideal for non-expert surfer

Our school is right next to the sea but the beach is indeed wide and the walk might feel a bit long when you carry a surfing board. Thankfully, the conditions on our beach are perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers — safe, fun, and great for improving your skills.

Everyone was very helpful, and they seem to be good teachers as well - our son was able to ride some waves standing, after 90 minutes.

The best surf school in Barcelona!
We had a blast learning from Abel! He was upbeat, fun, and genuinely excited to teach us how to surf. I've never met a friendlier person. And as far as teaching goes, he went above and beyond to get us standing on the surf board. This was an all-around great experience and we would highly recommend booking a lesson (or 2!).

The Catalan Surf School was an amazing experience. We had Abel as our instructor and he was the best teacher you could ask for. Great instructions and very patient with my friends and me. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely would come back!

Great experience from the beginning to the end. Was travelling to Barcelona with my two boys (15 and 13 y.o.) and contact them to check terms and conditions. Ester was a brilliant point of contact, always replying with all the details needed and providing accurate and clear information. On the day, Pedro was an outstanding teacher. Professional, patient, caring, paying attention to each and everyone of the person in the group. My boys had a great time, to the point they wanted to rent a surf and keep spending time in the sea. I would highly recommend
