Escape the City is the most worthy, not only career but life changing program. You can count on having an amazing team of coaches, always inspiring and friendly and a safe and caring space where you'll get to share and receive massive support. It was an amazing journey of self-discovery that gave me the strength and tools to push myself into a new career path. I seriously recommend it to anyone who's feeling a bit lost and in need of a renewd confidence boost. Special thanks to the lovely team Skye, Matt and Mia, who do an amazing job organising everything.

This is a truly honest and life changing experience. I can't thank Skye, Mia and Matt enough for all the help and advice they have given us. Great company to be a part of!

Amazing community of people, great workshops and programs, in my opinion there is nothing out there with a comparable outlook/team/community. I've just completed their Startup Accelerator Course and it was one of the best things I've ever done :)!

Brilliantly run, structured and taught.

Before the Escape Startup course I was doing Head of Loyalty for a large car rental company. I had spent 10 years in various roles across the commercial function – loved my career but was questioning what was next for me – especially since I had my two little girls.

The most important things I learned were
1. That being surrounded by like-minded people is very powerful.
2. There is nothing you cannot learn
3. There is a process and tools that can be used. This is what I needed to get started in my entrepreneur journey and it doesn’t have to cost a lot!
4. It also allowed me to “find myself again”, realising what I used to love and didn’t have any more as part of this large corporation.
In a nutshell, my biggest takeaways were the importance of getting customer feedback as early as possible and building & keeping the momentum through small steps – there is nothing as a big step…

Now I have left my corporate job, I have started a small business (WhooshPop, science classes for little ones) and I am testing a few assumptions to support mums at mid-senior level in their search for flexibility. I would recommend it to anyone who wants something more to what they are currently doing in their corporate job, someone curious about what starting a business would look like or someone interested in working with start-up.

I totally recommend it – it was the beginning of a new journey for me.

Before the Escape Startup course I was trying to start my own business on my own. After going to a taster event I knew this was the place for me and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for my business. I learnt all that I needed on how to grow my business, but most importantly, how to focus on the business and not the work around the business. Great people, great vibes and an atmosphere of love.

I can not recommend Escape the City more highly, they are achieving such great things, helping people build a career they love and challenging the status quo. I signed up to the Idea Accelerator course that ESC run and what an incredible experience it was, best thing I've ever done for my career. I have wanted to sign up to the course for a while but never got round to it; I thought it was a lot of money and couldn't justify the expense. However, it is worth every single penny, it is an important investment in yourself! The things I learnt on this course have helped me immensely in my current job in a start up, and the skills and mindset that I have developed are essential to help me on my entrepreneurial journey. The course leaders really know their stuff, are well connected and have bags of enthusiasm. The other great thing about it is the people who you meet through Escape the City. I have a renewed excitement for life again and it is all down to this company. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely loved being a part of this inspiring and empowering tribe of (to be) entrepreneurs. I attended the 3 month 'Idea Accelerator' program and can't even put into words how MUCH I have learned about founding a business, forming meaningful connections, harnessing the power of online tools as well as about myself. One of the first and probably best decisions I took after leaving my City job was to join Escape the city. "Esc" is made up of great people running it and a great community, some of whom are still good friends 2 years on.

It still is one of my first ports of call whenever I have a business related challenge and the support and encouragement I received and continue to receive is one of the reasons where Oddbox is where it is.

I have just finished a life changing 'Idea Accelerator' course at Escape the City - an incredible organisation run by some seriously talented and motivated people. A group of 30 of us started off with an idea, and lots of doubt and insecurity - all of us have come away after 12 weeks with a proper business, social media strategies, websites, sales, 35 new friends, and a whole host of skills, tools and support that will help us with any new venture we decide to launch ourselves into.
The course leaders and organisers are inspirational, talented, smart, motivated and cannot do enough to help.
It is the best money I have ever spent and I am sure I have already made up for it thanks to the new tools and skills I have acquired through the course!

I started with Escape the City in May haven't looked back. The team work tirelessly with you to help solidify and get your idea out there. No words can describe the level of camaraderie that naturally comes from this course both from the team and your peers, it is worth its weight in gold just for that. I am excited and motivated now to see what happens on my journey but also others in my group. Cant recommend highly enough! Just of it!
