Charged $83.88 for an annual plan I never chose — refund refused

Signed up for a trial of Era's Context app and was charged $83.88 for a full annual plan — the page advertises "$6.99/mo" with no clear annual confirmation step. I spotted the charge on my bank statement within the first month, cancelled in the app, and asked for a refund. I even offered to pay the full first month's rate — CEO Alex Norcliffe personally refused, telling me the charge was "the contract, in plain English" and that "the onus is on you."
