EquityZen has proven to me that they cannot execute on certain deals they advertise and promote, but then they overpay on others when a deal should not have been signed. I do not believe they have their client’s best interest at heart and their communication is lacking. That’s not the kind of service I expect. I have moved to another platform that has already been a much better experience.

Charlie is the best

Had a fantastic experience working with Charlie who helped guide me through a quick close. He was always available and quick to respond, and quite frankly, without him I wouldn’t have been able to get into the fund.

I have been able to invest in several companies for about 5k.

EquityZen support is slower than other services I use. But they have uncapped hefty fees with every investment. Also, support often doesn't peruse the email properly so I have to clarify multiple times with the info that were already presented.

Cannot get into high quality assets. Got 3 times kicked out of Databricks investment series. In one of them I was about on the top of the list. I still got kicked out in the end even though fund transfer everything was done properly. So, when EquityZen sends a confirmation email I don't trust it for popular asset that those will close the deal successfully until the very end.

I presume that I will only occasionally invest on low quality assets on this platform and use competitors for higher quality ones.

- Company and funding history info on site is not rich. Newer companies take quite a while to get added here.
- Dark mode support would be nice since most websites have it now.

No hitches. The process is rather lengthy and complex, but that is probably inevitable.

Effective website, excellent communication, regular updates- it's clear this organization is working hard to provide the high quality service to customers.

I wired money but repeatedly asking many times for the status even after a week, your team claiming did not received money. I had to call my bank and get tracking for wire and sent. After sending tracking #, it took three days for your team to confirm. I need to follow up every day, other wise my money should have gone under tracked. This is very bad. I never experienced with EquityZen before these issues.

Very limited documentation on the actual stock purchase - example: anti-dilution was nowhere to be found in the main contract but was shown on the main page of the "agreement".

Minimum is too high does not allow multiple investments in different companies. It is impossible to in XAi, SpaceX and other favorites and have to settle in second and third choice. I have had much better chance with Robinhood.

EquityZen provides the private deals which we could not find from other platforms. Deals are fair. Processing time is quick and reasonable.

Holding on to fund for months with inaction. The closing dates are changing on a daily basis. Seek clarifications for support and was given a hyperlink to no where. Will likely to pause further business unless process improve.

It was a convoluted process but well explained. Good communication every step of the way from start of investment to completion.

Platform is ok and the customer service is good but they messed up on a pricing display for an asset by 10x. Caused a big commotion but to their credit they refunded it.
