Great platform but limited support for investor concerns…
EquityZen offers competitive private equity share prices, but they could better advocate for investors during crises. The handling of PolySign’s liquidation, coupled with the firm's misleading claims of “good” standing, highlights a missed opportunity for EquityZen to act more proactively or involve regulatory authorities like the SEC.
Despite the platform’s usefulness and responsive team, stronger investor advocacy and transparency would build greater trust and confidence.

Comprehensive Legally
Comprehensive Legally. I prefer a Company to investor direct deal with an escrow firm taking a fee. The way I understand it, Equity Zen holds my money/shares in a "Fund" earmarked for the company I bought. Confusing but presumably safe.

Yes, while we do offer deals that are "Direct Share Acquisition" where an investor invests directly in a company which typically has minimum investment sizes of $150K or more.
