My experience at Church Corner

I have been a resident of Church Corner for over twenty years! I love the location! The staff has been excellent! The maintenance has been exceptional! Most of the residents have been very kind and sociable! But best of all---the price has been quite affordable. I will definitely recommend the Equity establishment to any and all I come in contact with!

My Forever Home Found

I love coming home. Everyone should, right?

I've experienced that the latter isn't always a guarantee, if you have a landlord/property management company that isn't genuinely as invested in your satisfaction as they need to be. This isn't the case at Skyline Terrace.

Skyline Terrace is a unique and special place to live. The property management team is 2nd to none. They are each responsive, personable, and caring. Ensuring your comfort and addressing tenants' needs are a priority. Maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly, thoroughly, and thoughtfully by Santos's crew. Sherwin (Community Manager) and Luis (Leasing Manager) work collaboratively to communicate events, provide property improvements, and foster a cohesive atmosphere throughout the complex. Living spaces are airy and spacious with sensible floor plans and unprecedented closet space. Yes, CLOSET space. The community is also a diverse blend of singles, couples, families, and fur babies. Another bonus is the concrete building structure, which allows for more noise flexibility. We have balconies, a heated enchanting pool + jacuzzi, and a mid-century modern vibe.

If at all possible, I'll never move.

First 90 Days

Awesome team and impeccable customer service and building upkeep. Hallways could use an upgrade. The carpet is dingy and smelly. Often, trash is stuck in trash chute. However, I’d recommend nightly.

Rent Increase

The increase in rent each year makes you think they want you to leave. Then they introduce a payment system that makes you pay an additional service fee of $8 per account on top of your payment each month.

Management has been receptive and…

Management has been receptive and attentive overall regarding concerns and mange of apartments, they get right on it. Their attitude have always been somewhat understanding. I strongly feel that The 303 bldg is unsafe, strangers exit through lobby from burger restaurant and when concierge are not at desk, revolving door should be locked because it's easy access to outside public and intruders considering the acts of violence going on in communities across the country. For those whose apartments face the courtyards, we have to put up ciwith noise both in the daytime and at times late at night. We have to deal with smoke from the grills entering our apts if our windows are open, sometimes people are cooking after the grills are to shut down for the day.Weekend Concierge aren't that receptive(nightly( one at 303 and can be pretty rude and not responsive when a resident may need assistance ).

I love living here but...

I love living here. The staff is fantastic and is always very helpful. The building was recently renovated and looks great. My only gripe is how Equity as a company runs out the good residents by raising rents by exorbitant amounts each year. No one’s salary goes up by hundreds of dollars each month. So instead of quality professionals living and staying here you end up with shady individuals. As an example we recently had a murder resulting from a drug deal. If Equity would retain the good residents these kinds of events would be avoided.

I recommend living here because even if there's an issue with your new home the staff are quick and efficient to fix it...they take time to know your name and are ALWAYS smiling and saying hello. Thank you for making this a happy well maintained place to live.

Jia is not a perfect place but Equity staff is a class-act

The Equity staff at Jia is amazing. They are timely, hard-working, polite and friendly. While I do think some of the rates are over-priced with extras tacked on, Jia does deliver. And I know it is a lot of work for them with almost 500 people living in one building. They may need more staff. One area: I do wish there was a more vigorous background with some of the clientele. I have seen some residents that are engaged in very questionable activities and 'jobs'. There are others that have also seen this and would agree with me. I also think there should be stricter fines for the residents who break the non-smoking rule and don't seem to care about trash, keeping their front door looking nice/clean and other etiquette matters.
All in all, I have been pleased with this Equity property.

Avenir is fantastic!

The entire building is incredible! Even through construction the front desk and the leasing office members have been absolutely amazing. There is always a smiling face when you enter the door, dogs are welcomed with treats in the leasing office every time, and the facilities and amenities are unparalleled. I would highly recommend this building!

Mediocre management

I have lost count how many property managers (4?) we have had in my time living in the building. The office is pretty disorganized.

Overall happy with the building

Overall happy with the building , the office staff and maintenance staff are all very nice and respond to requests. The reason for 3 stars and not 5 is because of the quality of residents that are moving in have decreased. Packages are being taken, residents park their cars in guests spots so guests have nowhere to park- Kids running up and down the hallways yelling. Just really unfortunate because the staff and building is nice.
