Happily converted

I don't usually review products, but my new Eplo toilet literally changed my life. I love everything about it! I never even tried a bidet before pulling the trigger, but I was converted on the first use. The only think I can't vouch for so far is durability, since I've been using it for only a month now.

Easy process!

It was easy to place my order and my bidet arrived even faster than they said it would. There was no damage to it from transit. I have not had the need to contact customer service so this is my only experience.

Only 4 stars because I had a Kohler…

Only 4 stars because I had a Kohler Numi toilet before this one (after 13 years it was toast) and the jet spray wash on the Kohler is worlds better, plus other things like the deodorant, foot warmer, music, sterilization of the wand, etc, but for 1/10 of the price of a new Kohler which is now $14,000, it's fantastic.

Great service, before and after purchase

Prior to purchase I was able to get answers to specific size/dimension questions quickly. I was even sent a few photos to better illustrate the information that was provided. After purchase I received the same level and speed of response to a few technical questions I had.

Shipping information was horrible

Shipping information was horrible. Had to back track it to my mailbox. Looks like it was sent by person in there personal car. This was actually for the smart toilet special foam agent. I would like to take the time to say that Eplo is true to there product. They reached out to me to say they were sorry for the inconvenience. They sent me back my original purchase price. They sent me another bottle at no charge. As I explained, it’s possible it was put in my mailbox as my driveway is quite treacherous with the snow we had. So thank you Eplo for standing behind your product. Yes I have there toilet and it comes highly recommended.

So very happy with my new Eplo smart…

So very happy with my new Eplo smart toilet. It has all the features I was looking for and has inspired me to refresh my whole bathroom.

The customer service is top-notch. I’ve contacted them 2 or 3 times and they have been quick to respond with easy to understand answers. Thank you Eplo. I’m glad I decided to purchase your product.

My experience with EPLO has been Amazing…

My experience with EPLO has been amazing.

From my initial product questions before purchase, to my delayed installation and eventual customer support request almost 10 months later, the staff at EPLO were excellent.

My wife and I researched dozens of smart toilets and decided to give EPLO a try.

I had concerns about the materials used to create the toilets (I thought the toilet may be made from plastic or composite), however EPLO assured me the main toilet base is built from porcelain - which it is, and is very solid and easy to clean.

After purchasing the toilet it sat boxed for nearly 10 months while we finished our bathroom remodel. (longest project ever)

Once I was finally able to install the toilet, installation was simple. I was able to install and set the toilet myself, and only went through 2 wax rings (The first time I set the toilet I didn't like it's position, so I adjusted and used a new wax ring)

It was nervous about the 2 side screws that are used to hold the toilet in position on the base - this is different from typical toilets that bolt onto the flange, however they are holding fine.

The controls, settings, and usage is very straightforward. The remote control will be your primary way to interact with the toilet, but the base also has a knob to control the bidet / flush features.

I wish the toilet remote had built in lights so it would be easier to see which buttons to push in the dark, but I will eventually memorize where each button is.

The automatic toilet lid opening feature is nice, but can be annoying if you're moving around it (e.g. finishing the remodel). It's easy to disable.

The sensor to open the toilet lid using your foot is a nice feature. I wish I could program the toilet to open both the lid AND the seat, instead of having to wave my foot 2 times. (although my wife would not agree for obvious reasons)

The nightlight is a nice feature. It would be cool if that light only turned on based on a light sensor, but it's not a big deal that it stays on all of the time.

When I finished installing the toilet, I noticed the plastic housing that connects the toilet seat to the porcelain base was cracked at the connection bolts (It looked like the bolts were installed too tight, and that caused a stress crack in the plastic).

When I contacted EPLO, I sent photos showing the damage as well as an explanation to why I had taken so long to find this issue after purchase.

I assumed I would need to purchase a new seat, and that I had waiting too long to unbox and install the toilet.

The EPLO staff didn't question anything, and immediately mailed me a new replacement seat.

I was very surprised by their friendly response and how quickly they provided a solution. They didn't mention my delay in installation or whether I had damaged the seat during install. They didn't make me pay for a new part or cover shipping costs. They just "took care of it", and that made my day.

Overall, the EPLO U8MAX is a great product, and the EPLO staff have made me very confident in my purchase.
