So far I am super impressed by the ease…

So far I am super impressed by the ease of the website site. It is so easy to navigate through to super deals. Even though to the checkout it just flows through and it makes it so quick and easy with no sneaky surprises when your payment has finalised. If the products are as good as everyone is saying and they keep the prices at such competitive rates. I know that I will be a loyal long-term customer and I will refer as much business as I can to support their business as much as I possibly can. Fingers crossed 🤞.

Scammers Do Not Buy!

Spent over $350 for 2 epicoolers. One arrived damaged. Both did not work. It's a fan moving room temp air around.
They're difficult to contact. I had to email. They told me I was over the 30 days return limit. When I told them I received them 4 days ago and sent them delivery proof. They said they could only refund 75% of cost.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CENT. ITS BEEN 4 WEEKS.
Now they have ghosted my emails.
Pisses me off these social media companies don't Vet their ads and protect these consumers.
NEVER AGAIN.

I have read the seller EpiCooler's reply.

Again they still refuse to reimburse the postage of returning the products to me. They sophisticate that the have the so call "Term & Condition of returning good".

The point I reiterate is: I return the product is not because I had changed mind after purchase. I return the product because they were misleading in their advertising of "portable air-conditioner" but selling fan heater. I ordered two of their product "Portable air conditioners" NOT fan heater. But they sent me two "portable electric fan heaters". Then I have to return the incorrect items back in order to get my refund. That was not that I had changed my mind and return the product. It was they sent me the incorrect product and requested me return them within 30 days to get my refund. Therefore they SHOULD and MUST responsible for the postage cost of the return of the INCORRECT product. Their "Term & Condition" SHOULD NOT AND CANNOT APPLIED in this situation!!! It is a simple logic.

I have written to them many times requesting they pay back my postage cost of $52.50 which is an unjustified and unnecessary financial loss to me caused by the EpiCooler unethical trade practice. But everytime the reply cames from different representive of EpiCooler and all use the sophistry of "Please note that our return conditions, including timeframes and shipping costs, are outlined in our return policy on our website. As stated there, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer". You can see how quibbling and unresponsible this EpiCooler company is.

I have taken the matter to the Department of Fair Trade and Consumer Protection.

Fail on all counts

Complete fail for using AI for ‘customer service’! After initial triaging, employ people early in the complaints rather than sending consumers on tedious merry-go-rounds to avoid receiving unwanted goods and fully refunding people. Wasting consumers time and stressing them out plus the environmental consequences of the waste is unforgivable. The company should improve its practices or be banned from the Internet /social media

Repsonse to Adrian Lowe feedback

Adrian Lowe, I strongly believe epicooler put the metal discs in the package so it damages the packaging during delivery, therfore you fail to meet the refund policy requirements of returning the items in the original undamaged packaging.
Paypal favoured the scamming company in my dispute decision, even though epicooler had originally offered and agreed to a 75% refund and not returning the items.

The coolers they sent are noisy and…

The coolers they sent are noisy and don’t cool at all, the heating is good but you can’t sleep with the fan running. Their customer service is terrible and they don’t give you your money back so their 30 day money back policy is incorrect as well they aren’t based in Australia they are somewhere else. They gave me 50% refund not 100%, their advertisement about quiet is incorrect as the fans are really noisy and they don't cool. The whole point was getting an air conditioning unit that cools, theirs don't and 50% refund is not a money back guarantee, The refence number they sent was then altered to being closed because their emails didn't go through as they bounce back, again not my problem but if you want honest feedback you should have an email address that actually goes back to your company. Customer service is terrible and laborious without any real outcomes.

BS from the start

You guys are basically running a scam. False advertising to start with and at no time indicating that payment is in USD until it’s too late. Tried to cancel within 20 mins of ordering, response was delayed beyond an hour then conveniently told I was too late and that products are typically dispatched within an hour from the warehouse but not to worry as there is a full 30 day money back return policy. Product arrives and it’s garbage, cooler does not cool at all and is not even close to fit for purpose. So get back in contact to enact the 30 day return. Then given a bunch of hoops to jump through and told of ridiculous conditions of return including the item must be unused. Huh.. “how am I meant to test the product if I don’t plug it in?”… I question this and was offered a 25% refund to keep the product. I nearly choke at how comical then was offered 45% and so on. We eventually settle on 70% refund as I would have had to fit the bill for the item being return shipped to Hong Kong within 30 days and be undamaged/unused for full refund which by this point I knew was not going to happen. Refund went straight through but ended up losing about $110AUD from this lack of judgement on my behalf. Do not EVER purchase from this company or the many others like it. Since I made this mistake I’m noticing other ads of similar products that have the same advertising etc. I bet they are all part of the same conglomerate scamming whoever is silly enough to try and buy their garbage.

SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!

SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!! Billed me for 4 air con units, i was only looking at the website. It offered other items which i ticked no and closed off out the website. $400 USD i was scammed straight out of paypal and i never even went as far as ticking go via paypal. Big time scam

Update: resolve the issue by providing a full refund! I don’t want any of your product

Do not buy this product

Do not buy this product. It’s not even as good as a fan and the so called cool air is not cool. I tried to cancel the order the next day after ordering only to be told it had been shipped. 3 weeks later the product arrived. A dodgy company to say the least and when trying to contact them online, the anti virus program I use stated Malicious Website. Be very careful and stay away. Do not buy this product.

DO NOT purchase this product. It is a complete SCAM. Doesn’t cool even a small room. In fact the room felt warmer after putting it on. Also it is sold in USDollars which you don’t realize till check out. Can’t believe it is still being sold. Would avoid at all costs.

Don't buy from them

Don't buy from them. The aircon is just a fan, they blocked support emails, finally gave an Australian address amongst others when I went through paypal complaint but changed it to return only to Germany to make it more expensive to return - $76 to Germany compared to Oz for $30. Luckily paypal gave me a credit of $76 recognising them as a scammer. Here's a new scam point- they put over 500gms of lead weights in the parcel, luckily I took a photo of them on the scales when I got the parcel. I reckon they did that so the parcel was lighter when returned so they could say not all items were returned, so as not to give any refund.
Keep away, they are the worst - it was a huge stressful hassle.

Totally fraudulent product

Totally fraudulent product.
I dare everybody who has purchased this product to remove the back and see for yourselves what's inside.
John who's review dated 13 March is dead on.
Richards review dated 14 March , does he live in a cold climate and not tried the cooler function?.
Bernd review , wish I had Clarence as my contact person. I had Polly and was unable to respond to her emails.
We removed the back of the unit and found 2 small plastic fans and a cheap heating element. This product has nothing inside to allow it to be classed as a cooler.
I just wish I could upload my video to this review which shows what is inside the Epicooler.
I also wonder about the people on this site that give 4 and 5 stars to a product that does not preform as advertised.
