We used Enviroshake's Envirocool product to replace a 12 year old cedar shake roof that was already failing. I am really impressed with Enviroshake and the product's performance on our hot, sunny and windy island. The warranty is the best I have ever had.

The Caribbean rep, Corbin Smith, has been a delight to deal with. He answered all of our questions and made the whole "shopping to delivery" experience top notch.

Working with the staff team at Enviroshake to order, confirm, and receive our roofing product was absolutely seamless. They were prompt and professional in every respect and went out of their way to ensure exceptional customer service, from initial contact through to product delivery. We cannot say enough good things about our interaction with Enviroshake and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. No customer service sent wrong product and would not resolve the problem. They got their money and didn’t care about anything else.
Contrary to their reply they wanted to refund me 17 and change what a crock and I explicitly ask for metal or aluminum. Just be. Sure you know what they are selling as it’s not clear as stated. Would hate to know how they treat someone who did a complete roof. Shameful as to their service and respect as Inalso requested to hear recorded info and that wasn’t an option but clearly states this is a recorded line. Useless as they don’t have such as I figured when I asked.
LESSON LEARNED AND WILL NEVER USE SAID COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

Super roof, super company. It looks great, and my local contractor said it was easy to install.

I have not experienced an Oklahoma hail storm since installation, but I am sure it will survive. I have installed three "lifetime" roofs, but I believe Enviroshake will live up to this expectation, and it's not just because I am old.

Great product. Worked with Enviroshake for over two years as a product to replace my 30 plus year old Masonite Woodruff roof. Wanted the cedar shake look. Disappointed in the packaging of the product for shipment. Since the bundles don’t lay exactly flat, many of the shingles had a slight bow upward or backward. Some were severely bowed because the the lack of wood tops to keep the strappings from severely bowing the top bundles. The Bowing cause 50% of the shingles not to lay flat when installed.

While visiting the bahamas art gallery i looked up saw this very nice material that looks like cedar shakes and i was like wow nice. So i made an inquiry about the material. When i obtain the name i did my own reseach and watch videos about how to install it and it was fascinating.This is a product of the future. If a customer ask what type of roof i recommend it would be enviroshake. IT has a lifespan of 50 years and it affordable and easy to install. Am quite sure that this product will meet any customer satisfaction.

Meant to update this ages ago! The tiles are really great - they’re better than ‘real’ slate roof look wonderful, can walk on them (with care!), when necessary & I can guarantee these slates are staying put! No more slipping & breaking.

Orig.Review: Saw these slates some years ago when we started to renovate our house & anticipated a large extension - regrettably the ‘renovation’ revealed numerous & costly structural repairs due to previous ‘improvements’ on this lovely old house - due to the discovery of ‘missing’ lintels, unsupported & inadequately strengthened floor & ceiling joists/timbers & an RSJ with no support pad - we ended up using our entire budget in uncovering & fixing these essential structural repairs including complete rewiring & replacement gas & electrics as all were in dangerous unusable condition😣
Anyway this is about Enviroslate! Move on 4 years dig out the info send email and from there on in their Uk customer service representative & all her contacts have been outstanding in getting us our Enviroslate tiles safely delivered ahead of current lockdown & are here awaiting the modest boot room & veranda extension.
Will update this review as/when installed (& hopefully without straying from the point!).
We are in conservation area & this house is now ‘of significant interest’ but the matching of Enviroslate product to existing real slate tiles was approved by our v. strict planning dept. (Phew) No mean feat! So pleased as the slate on main building keep slipping/breaking - even the ones recently replaced. Only budget has prevented us from replacing all with Enviroslate.
Heartfelt thanks meanwhile to the lovely Kaitlin and the rest of the Enviroslate team in Canada & their Liverpool supplier for their excellent work so far. Will let you know how it goes 😊👍

A neighbor had a new roof installed a few years back,. Every time I drove by I'd look at it because it was beautiful. When my wooden roof needed replacement, i decided to ask the neighbors about their roof. They said that love the roof, and that it came with a 50 year warranty. I decided to not use wood again....very costly with a modest lifespan. We decided to go with Enviroshake. I'd do it again...although I'll never have to.

Laying of the Enviroshake is happening right now. The product is providing everything had been looking for as a replacement product for our 25 year old cedar shakes. Environmental compliance, long term warranty, Canadian produced & visually, the absolutely perfect look.

This is the third time I have bought Enviroshake over the last 12 years.
Each time the product is a little different and a little better.
My home had Cedar Shakes and as they deteriorate I have been replacing them with Enviroshake. Being in BC everything under the sun was growing on the wood shakes and they were as slippery as an ice rink when wet which is 8 month a year.
No such problem with this product.
I highly recommend it.

Even if product is outstanding

When painting:
- Surface is reacting unevently when paint (using special plastic paint)
When installing:
- Tile need to be clean before installation (little platics inperfection to be remove before installation)

Great Staff and Customer Service.

Great product; easy to install and very little waste; I would highly recommend for any small DIY project.

Be extra careful when selecting ridge caps; the Enviroshake spec sheet for caps is confusing.

We searched long and hard for a premium quality product to replace our old roof on our historic home. We wanted a composite cedar shake roof that looked realistic, didn't cost a fortune and had an established track record of performance. Also, because we live in a hurricane zone, durability, mold / mildew resistance and warranty were also very important. In our opinion, Enviroshake was by far the best product of all the composites roofing options out there. We love the way it looks, by far the most realistic of anything out there, as well as the fact that it is made from recycled material. From a cost, quality and warranty stand point, it also beats the competitors hands down. Enviroshake is only product I'm aware of with an UNLIMITED warranty transfer. My Enviroshake rep Kaitlin Mason made it all very easy and was always available to answer our questions. Wabo Roofing in Houston, TX did an outstanding job installing the roof. It looks great and we couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Experience was pretty good. The communication was fairly quick and phone calls were answered.

We are installing Enviroshingle on an 1840 house at the Joseph Smith Historic Site in Nauvoo, IL. The previous cedar shingle roof was way past it "use by date". The only complaint is the flashing left on many of the Enviroshingles that had to be manually removed before we could mount the shingle. Otherwise the shingle strength is excellent and they are much easier to install than cedar shingles.

It was a pleasure dealing with the good folks at Enviroshake, my first time again in quite a few years. They were very responsive to my questions and the service was surprisingly quick.
Oh and hey, the roof looks amazing, client loves it!

We are very pleased with realistic look of the Enviroshake roof that we just had installed. On top of that we have purchased peace mind for the next 50 years!
