Enterprise in their error assigned a speeding fine to my family after we hired a car in france. We had the vehicle of the 7th of march but on the speeding fine it was for the 7th of may so the fine was for another customer.Enterprise cannot get the basics right in terms of reading dates and didn’t bother to double check then instructed debt collectors to hound our family. When we contacted enterprise holdings our response was ‘ unfortunately the debt is already assigned to you so you have to contact the relevant authorities’. We spent hours, days , weeks trying to prove this and they left us hung out to dry. This company is corrupt and will try to scam you at every turn.
Enterprise committed data infringements by giving our personal details away to a debt firm for a citation that was not ours. They gave away rental agreement info, email adress, contact information , names etc.
After going through the ADR process with their ‘impartial’ regulatory body BVRLA it was clear that they were in the pockets of enterprise and complicit with enterprise holdings Mis management of customers data.
Avoid this company and also their affiliates Alamo and national, they are scammers , corrupt and have poor customer service.
