I tried to rent a car in Sevilla, in the Tomares office but was not able to do this since your employees constantly lie and pretend that there are silly conditions to fulfill. I will find the main o... See more

Worst rental experience ever
When I picked up my rental, I was given a car that had been wrecked! The employee didn’t do a walk around, there was a gash in the sidewall of tire that was slowly losing air.
The employee was someone that I know personally, a Pastor, and I trusted that he wouldn’t do anything to put my life or the lives of my family members in danger. That was a mistake! I had my two year old grandson in the car with me and that could’ve caused an accident!
I requested a full refund and I’m still waiting…
Dishonest behaviour.
Dishonest behaviour.
I booked a full size 4 door auto.
When collecting they asked me if I wanted the Q3, said fine, don't really care, not going far - just to a conference and back.
When I checked out, I had been charged a daily fee for an upgrade!
I was NEVER told it was an upgrade (and it wasn't anyhow), no mention of any increase in charges.
A complaint to Enterprise has gone nowhere.

Check your car-return document closely!!! It is not shown to you at the car-return, but only sent to your email box.
During car-return I was informed that "all is ok" and the deposit will be returned. After a few days I got only part of my deposit due to additional fuel charges and I realized that Enterprise put lower level of fuel at the car-return that it was real.
I made a complaint to Enterprise Customer service and Booking.com, but they refused to return money unless I will show them a photo from the car showing the fuel level.
Almeria airport car Hire
Picked the car up off site from Almeria airport. Great car better than I booked. Friendly driver. Everything was perfect. Returned the car and the holding deposit was refunded in a couple of days as advised. Originally booked through VIP cars. I would book with Enterprise again.
Will never hire a car from Palma airport again
We arrived at Palma airport on Sunday 14 July and made our way to the large multi storage car park to collect our hire car. A member of staff who showed us the car was very unhelpful and explained that they only had two cars, a petrol Corsa and a larger electric vehicle. I am unfamiliar with electric vehicles and considered it too risky to drive and refuel in a different country from where we lived. The car he offered us with was much smaller than the Insignia (or similar size) we had ordered and the boot space was barely adequate for our two suitcases. A Corsa is two sizes down from an Insignia or Mokka (what we drive at home) and even smaller than an Astra.
As a result I had to leave our laptop bag behind where the car was parked, intending to place it in the rear seat. The car was also badly parked close to another vehicle and my wife Karen could not get into the front passenger seat. The unhelpful staff member was also distracting me with the minimum size of any damage caused and describing how to exit the car park. This person did not attempt to help otherwise and when I got into the car to move it forward to let my wife get in I forgot to load our laptop bag into the rear seat of the car. This would not have happened if the car had been an Insignia as the bag would have fitted comfortably into the boot along with the cases as it did in our own Mokka.
It was only when we arrived at our resort, some 40km away that we realised we had left the bag at the airport car park. Despite attempts by our hotel staff and holiday representative we were unable to report the loss to Enterprise staff. Although the staff tried several times on 14 July no-one at Enterprise would answer the telephone.
A few days later out Jet2 representative tried and was successful in speaking to someone at Enterprise Palma airport however this person did not give any information about our bag and even put the telephone down whilst the rep was talking to him.
We reported the lost bag to Police in Puerto Pollensa. When we were leaving on 24 July I left the car at the departure point as instructed by the staff member who supplied us with the car. I then went back to the area we collected the car to both hand in the key and also to take another look at the area I had inadvertently left the bag. Whilst I was there a member of Enterprise staff approached me and I told him where the car was left and also that I had lost a bag 10 days earlier. This member, who was a real gentleman called Marco, accompanied me to where the car was parked and left me with his business card. He also noted my home telephone number in case anyone found the bag. We only wish it was Marco who had offered us the car initially as I’m sure he would have made the effort to supply us with a more suitable vehicle.
We arrived home and it wasn’t until 10 August that an Enterprise manager called Ana Fernández Sendra contacted me by e-mail and told me that my bag had been found and stored at their airport office and requesting an address she could send it to.
On 11 August I contacted Ana, thanked her for contacting me and provided her with my home address and even offering to pay any shipment costs. Ana got back to me on 12 August and promised to have my bag returned on Thursday 15 August.
I have not heard from Ana since despite numerous e-mails to both Enterprise UK and Palma airport and have put this inexplicable delay down to her being absent from work for some reason. A pity, as the matter appeared to have been successfully resolved.
Dreadful - Choose another rental company
Dreadful company - rented at Malaga airport back in May 2024. Staff rude on arrival (key to remember that not all English don’t speak Spanish - I could understand every word you were saying about me and other customers!). Tried to issue a car at the very bottom of the group we had paid for, refused to accept it, waited over an hour for service. All they wanted to do was sell the upgrade - the service agent was handed the key by her superior when we arrived and directly told to sell something bigger.
We were given a Volvo XC40 that then failed and went into limp mode / reduced speed. Spent 3 days of our holiday trying to get someone to do something, including going into to branches to try and resolve / replace, branches sending us to back street garages to get diagnostics done but to no avail.
Absolutely NO response from customer services when we tried to contact them as instructed on pick up at the airport - countless emails and calls, when finally the Marbella office was able to help.
Finally got the car changed after two days of missed property viewings and lawyers appointments.
On returning the car and complaining to the manager, he wanted us out of the drop off zone as soon as possible, promising a refund on two days rental and taking a photograph of my credit card so he could process it - FOUR MONTHS later and after around 20 follow ups, lies from their team and having to resort to threats to take legal action through EU consumer protection, the refund was processed and took 24 hours to reach my card. “Billing department delays”
A bunch of absolute charlatans - if you value your safety, your money and a decent customer experience, DO NOT book with Enterprise group out of Malaga or anywhere else in Spain.
Everithing with enterprise was fast
Everithing with enterprise was fast, clear, with no dealys and a good price. The shows all charges and explain everithing you need to know befor the rent of the car. The experience is even better with the apk.
Terribel Experience at Malaga Airport
I had a terrible experience at Malaga Airport with Miss Caridad Ruiz Cortes. Be aware for this lady!!! First she tried to give me a penalty for damage at the tire (I showed her my pictures that the damage was there aleady when I got the car in Sevilla) and later she took a part of my deposit without sending me the final invoice. I wrote her several email but no response. Also no response from the company. I asked them 3 times for the final invoice. Please Enterprise send me the final invoice and pay me back my deposit!!!
Stay Away from Valencia Enterprise, not like US
If you have the opportunity visit the beautiful town of Valencia, Spain and choose to rent a car I would advise against Enterprise. I’m a senior business executive from the US and an Enterprise frequent traveler member. Enterprise has a strong US reputation in the States, but in Valencia, specifically at C/ San Vicente Martr, 171 I received the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I paid more for Enterprise than their competitors, and paid more for a comfortable Mercedes, I did complete the online pre-check in the day before pickup so I could “grab and go.” At the counter I was asked to provide 3 photo ID’s, which I did, present my AmEx Platinum to run a significant deposit, and show my government ID/Drivers License which I did. Then the female agent insisted I present my physical passport which online said was not necessary w my government ID, which I’d left in the hotel safe, as the instructions at pre checkin said it would NOT be needed. The entire benefit of checking in online the day before was to avoid the paperwork at check in. The agent showed no empathy, or respect at all, which is 100% atypical of Enterprise as a global provider. I was forced to take a cab ride back to my hotel, get my passport out of the safe, then take another cab ride back to the Enterprise location at the bus station, to be informed by the same agent “we don’t have any Mercedes…” Again, no humility or empathy, but complete disrespect of my wife and I. She tried to make us pay the same rate for a significantly smaller Audi. This agent should be terminated and should never represent Enterprise.
Stay away from Enterprise is Valencia, it ruined a precious day of vacation for my wife and I.
Exceptional poor service in connection…
Exceptional poor service in connection with refund of depositum
It’s been one month since I delivered the car back in Sevilla Airport and I haven’t seen the deposit of EUR 200,- yet
I rate this as very poor service
Avoid avoid avoid
Booked a gas powered car and there were only EVs when I arrived. I was not comfortable with the charging stations but was convinced by he worker that it would not be any problem. It was ONLY problems and when I was left without power on the side of the road, Alamo and Enterprise did nothing to help except tow the car. We were left in the middle of nowhere to figure out how to get to the next destination we were driving to. Zero support from the company.
Worst rental experience of my life. My trip ruined
The information provided by their third party booking on Booking.com on their listing did not match company policies and we lost a reservation for not having a credit card AND a debit card. They were terrible, slow and mean in Poblenou, Barcelona. Worst car rental experience of my life.
Such a disappointing experience
After reserving a lorry way in advance they told me the day before ‘they probably wouldn’t have one available for me’
A time before that we went to pick up a lorry and were told we could take it because they had just spotted it needed it’s ITV!
Unfair and unkind
This company provides false information, the staff is extremely unfriendly and does not keep its promises. A car which would cost €110 for one day, costed €250, because of parking costs that would be returned, but are not. The whole situation ruined two days of my vacation. Whatever you do, DO NOT RENT A CAR AT ENTERPRISE.
worse and bad company
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Enterprise Rental Car in Barcelona. Despite booking a car in advance, they refused to give me a vehicle when I arrived, citing conditions that were never mentioned during the booking process. This was a complete shock and extremely inconvenient.
Their customer service was terrible. The staff were unhelpful and unapologetic, wasting two hours of my time while I tried to sort things out. In the end, I left without a car and a major disruption to my plans.
Additionally, they blocked a large sum of money on my credit card, which added financial stress to the already awful experience. And I didn’t get my money back and I called on the number many times.
Do not trust Enterprise Rental Car in Barcelona. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and will waste your time and money. Save yourself the headache and rent from a more reputable company. I recommend going to Sixt instead. You might pay a little more, but it’s worth it for the stress-free experience and reliable service.
This company is a total scam.
This company is a total scam.
They charged me a huge amount of money for something I did't do, and after that I had to start a very difficult process of claim that lasted months, with these people trying to make me give up trying until I had to threat them with going to the police. After that, they sent me the money back.
I would not recommend that nightmare to anyone, avoid this ''company'' please.
ENTERPRISE MENORCA AIRPORT
ENTERPRISE MENORCA AIRPORT
I have had bad experiences with other rental companies (eg Hertz), and decided to try Enterprise.
I was surprised how efficient and easy the whole process was. Usually there is a big queue at the pick up location for other companiies. With Enterprise, you can fill in your details before you fly, so the queue moved very quickly.
Inigo met us and gave us a tour of the car - essentially brand new. We were out and driving within 15 minutes of arriving at the queue. They try and sell you the extra charges, but back off when you decline them, rather than just adding them on like Hertz did, even after declining them
Drop off was easy and quick too.
Overall, the service could not have been better. Looking at other reviews - maybe we were lucky, or perhaps the Menorca office is run better? Our flight was over 2 hours late, and I did see that some people who had booked their hire through easyjet were having problems. We had no issue, and they kept our car for us
Enterprise Car rental from Bilbao Airport
I booked and paid for a 7 seat car from Bilbao airport and arrived at the desk at 11.20am today to collect it.
I was told that my booking had 'expired' and the car had been given to someone else. They now only had 5 seater cars available.
They showed me a piece of paper showing terms and conditions, in smallprint Spanish, and pointed to a sentence deep into the text which apparently said that bookings will only be valid for 1 hour from the time of booking. I had booked the car to be available from 10am, and I had arrived at 11.20.
I have now checked the booking email I initially received from Enterprise. NOWHERE in the 'Key Facts about your rental' does it state that they will only hold your vehicle for 1 hour for you.
There was no apology, no financial reimbursement.
I have now had to modify my family holiday plans.
I am very disappointed and upset by my treatment from Enterprise. I shall not be using them again.
Barcelona Airport
Barcelona Airport. Such friendly, amazing service from the team at Terminal 2. Couldn’t do enough to help. Nelson and Susannah were brilliant, spoke excellent English and processed our booking with top speed. Will definitely book again
Worst car rental I've ever used
Worst car rental I've ever used, returning in San Sebastian, Spain. Friendly employee inspected the car on return and confirmed there was no damage and signed this off for us. We then receive an email later in the day that someone else has inspected the car and found damage. Only shared in Spanish, refused to translate the damage note into English or elaborate on it, and also refused to share image evidence. Absolute scam of a company, avoid them at all costs.
