We had our Engwe bike for about 6 months when we had a problem losing charge on the battery. Engwe's service department was extremely responsive and we were able to replace the battery and charger at no cost and now the bike is fully functional again.

I bought a new Engwe M20 last month (in Spain) and can heavily recomend both the bike (its awesome, very easy to build and rides even better than I thought) and the Engwe support I received. Although we had an issue with the local Spanish delivery which was outside Engwe control they managed to respond very quickly, to my satisfaction and resolved the issue perfectly. I can highly recomend both the bikes and the customer service. Thank you.

I’ve had my yellow E26 for a few months now and I can honestly say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s my first electric bike, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it’s completely blown me away. There was a slight delay in delivery, but I genuinely think that’s because it’s so popular — and after riding it, I can absolutely see why.
The E26 is powerful, smooth, and just so much fun to ride. The electric assist makes hills and longer journeys effortless, but it still feels like proper cycling. The battery life is amazing — I can go for days without charging, and even when I do, it charges up quickly and reliably. It’s built like a tank too, really sturdy and well put together, but still looks sleek and eye-catching. I’ve had loads of compliments on the yellow frame — it stands out in the best possible way.
It’s totally transformed how I get around, and I find myself using it for everything — commuting, errands, weekend rides, or just going out for the joy of it. I enjoy riding again in a way I haven’t for years. I’ve been so impressed that my partner is now getting one too.
Highly recommend the E26 to anyone considering their first e-bike — it’s an absolute game-changer.

I bought an M20 for my wife back in May and the bike and customer service are both excellent, so I purchased an X26 for myself this week and again both the bike and customer service have been perfect, you do not see that much anymore. I highly recommend Engwe Bikes.

i purchased my engwe l20 off of ebay and apart from a days delay everything went smoothly , every email answered by bjs ( this courier company is the best by the way) the bike was well packaged and easy to set up with the tools and manual provided the only issue i had was realigning the front brakes and applying the chain if i did get stuck theres videos on their site to guide you thankyou engwe the bike is brilliant.

Tried to purchase a bike fron engwe uk,but there isnt a uk branch-all goes through abroad.BJS (their courier)is also being akward.to receive the bike YOU have to be at home to sign for it(NO IFS OR BUTS) if you cant do that they cancell your order and it takes them 24hrs to reply to emails

Very satisfied, I ordered an M1 with two batteries, but ended up receiving a single-battery version with the second battery in a separate package. The screws needed to install the second battery holder were missing. Engwe apologized and offered to refund me the cost of the screws, while also agreeing to make a commercial gesture for the wait and the fact that I had to install the wiring myself, which was not planned. I thought that was professional and nice of them. Regarding the products (I have an E26 and an M1), I am also very satisfied with the value for money of the bikes. In short, it's nice that the brand follows up, and the after-sales service has been good.

I purchased an Engwe M20 2.0 e-bike and it arrived in terrible condition. The front chainring was completely bent and unusable, and the brakes have a serious malfunction that makes the bike unsafe to ride.
To make matters worse, their customer service is absolutely awful. I’ve reached out multiple times, and they have refused to replace the bike or take responsibility for the damage.
This has been a horrible experience — I strongly advise everyone to avoid this brand and save yourself the money and frustration. Stay away from Engwe.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Engwe Bikes. From start to finish, this has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered.
The bike I received was faulty upon arrival, with a warped rear disc, dented front fork, rubbing front brakes, and unusual noises. Not only that, but it was missing parts and had noticeable cosmetic damage.
After reaching out to customer service, the collection process was nothing short of a nightmare. Failed collections, poor communication, and an abrupt hang-up during a phone call only added to my growing frustration. The first collection date was missed, followed by a second rescheduled one that also didn’t happen. I was then told that the collection wouldn’t take place until the following week—leaving me without a usable bike for far longer than necessary.
To make matters worse, the delay in returning the bike caused me to be unable to work for an entire 2 week, leading to substantial financial loss. The lack of urgency or consideration for the impact this was having on my life is inexcusable.
While the bike has now been collected and a refund is processing, I feel that this situation has not been handled with the level of professionalism or urgency I should have received as a customer. The damage to my trust in this company is significant, and the inconvenience I’ve faced is simply unacceptable.
I’m not only dissatisfied with the product but with the entire experience from start to finish. I would strongly advise potential customers to think twice before purchasing from Engwe, especially considering how poorly issues are handled once they arise.
I’m hoping this review will lead to some form of compensation for the financial and emotional toll this situation has taken on me.

I used their domain engwe-bikes-eu.com to purchase an L20 boost e-bike for my wife.
I received the e-bike within a couple of weeks, well packaged and without any issues.
Their customer support is responsive within 1-2 business days usually.
The e-bike is of good quality considering the cost and very attractive to our eyes at least.
The experience was satisfactory and if I need another e-bike, I will certainly consider them again.
