Problems with a discount voucher
I contacted EH customer services and Helen listened to my problem with using a discount voucher to buy tickets. Within an hour Helen ensued me back with a payment link and QR code to purchase the previously unavailable tickets. Thank you for solving my issue Helen.

Customer service
Feeling a bit annoyed at not receiving our new updated memberships cards for more than 4 weeks and not being able to register into the members area online for various reasons to do with the website, I spoke to a very calm and sympathetic EH customer service employee who sorted out our problems within a few minutes (what had taken us a good hour of going round in circles and getting very frustrated). We’re very grateful that everything is sorted and we feel calm again. Hopefully we’ll get our physical cards through the post soon too. Thank you.

There’s much more there than you might expect.
As a long term member who has been to Dover Castle many times before, I took advantage of the special offer to take a guest in free - a friend who had never been there before. By luck we chose a day with clear blue skies and made the most of the opportunity to visit the multiple separate ‘features’ of the site.
Sadly, the Dynamo tunnels were temporarily closed but we did the underground hospital and agreed that it gave him an ideal reason to come back on another day when the Dynamo tunnels were open.
Wear good walking shoes and enjoy a light lunch while you’re there.

Wonderful castle
Wonderful castle, very evocative as not been upgraded.
Lovely friendly and extremely well informed lady who met us as we arrived.
Great cafe and it was dog friendly si we could all come in from the rain and have a drink. Despite pretty awful weather it was a very interesting trip.
