First I was asked to input my DOB when calling.
Second when I asked if my account had been cancelled I was assured it was and told to call my old provider.
Thirdly the waiting song is terrible and doesn't tell you where you are in the que.
Lastly, after waiting considerable time to speak to someone I was cut off

Doing hard credit access causing a drop in credit score. It doesn’t state a hard access specifically in T&Cs. Soft credit access was expected and should be enough! Customer service takes forever to respond to an online query!

I don’t think you want to know, I was told I would receive an email, I didn’t get it. I had to reach out to support to get it. I’m still unsure if my accounts have been cutover.

So disappointed in what was supposed to be a smooth transition to Engie. It resulted in 2 days without any power to our house and additional cost and inconvenience with freezers of food discarded. Engie's advice go back to your previous supplier to have power put on as we don't have remote access to do this.

Their customer service was extremely difficult to deal with, and their data management systems appear to have serious issues that led to errors with my account. Companies providing essential services should have reliable systems and responsive support, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience here.
