Fraudulent company, stay away

Avoid this company. We paid for an end of tenancy clean and the experience was appalling from start to finish.

The cleaners arrived 20 minutes late, looked around the flat, and left without saying a single word to us. Shortly after, someone from the office called to say our kitchen, a tiny one, would be reclassified as a "dining area" because there is a small table and chairs in it, and that this came with an extra £50 charge. The booking form doesn't even ask about kitchens or dining areas, and there is nothing in the terms of service about this surcharge, despite the woman on the phone repeatedly insisting otherwise.

On top of that, we were charged £24 because we hadn't provided free parking, only to discover the cleaners had parked on a red route where parking is prohibited entirely. So we were charged a parking fee for parking that didn't, and couldn't, happen.

When I asked the woman on the phone to point me to where the dining area surcharge was written, she refused, told me she "wasn't going to waste her time explaining it," and kept blaming us for filling the form in incorrectly, for a question that doesn't exist. She was rude, dismissive, and argumentative throughout. She then threatened to cancel the clean entirely and still charge us a £100 cancellation fee, effectively leaving us stranded mid-move while keeping our money, and giving us ultimatums like "you have 5 minutes to pay otherwise we're charging you £100".

This is not how a legitimate cleaning company behaves. I would strongly recommend booking literally anyone else.

Keep looking…

We paid £607 in total for cleaning and when the end of tenancy report came back with finger marks on light switches and grubby marks on surfaces we were horrified.
They left cling film on a disused toilet and stains on the bottom of our fridge. The carpet cleaning was not really cleaning to was more steaming.
After we got the report they said we had past the 72hr guarantee period so would have to pay to get them to come back.
Sellotape marks were left on cabinets and in general for the 6 hrs cleaning it was less than impressive.
