Encore Pet Food Reviews 

My cat 😺 will not eat anything else - I've tried almost everything - Marro; Untamed; etc., - Miso use not having it! For her Encore rules - she likes gravy in the morning & jelly any other time. She loves the Tuna / fish options.

This is an odd one for me because I have 7 dogs. The three five and under dogs love it and have been fine. My older four also love it, but it made them super sick. Bloody diarrhoea. Took them off the food and they got better within 24 hours. I really think an investigation should be conducted because this seems to be a common review!

I don’t often write reviews but felt I needed to on this occasion. My cat loved eating encore food BUT it made him really poorly. Being sick and coughing. He even brought up blood. I stopped giving him the food and he got better. Reintroduced it and it makes him poorly again. Will never buy it again and feel bad for giving it to him again now especially from reading other reviews that other people pets have been poorly on it. 😔 There’s something not quite right with your food encore to be making pets poorly!

They charge throught the nose for their tiny tins and don't even fill them up..so over being taken for granted by this company...fortunately I have discovered untamed a company who cant cram enough food into a tiny tin! If you feel the same about rip off encore I'd advise trying this company

Unfortunately my Sphinx cat is very sick after eating the fish tins. Not sure if it’s the rice in it that makes her sick, but it’s not a coincidence that each time she eats this, she is sick.
Cooked her a cod loin and tuna after each time she has been sick and she doesn’t vomit. Not an isolated incident, so will switch her to other foods now

Had my cat on encore in jelly cat food I purchased from sainsbury's in emerson's green bristol suddenly she started to have sickness and diorreah so badly I had to take to vets £118 later I stopped the encore and ...no sickness no diorreah!! My daughter googled this food on trust pilot and read the reviews and realised this had happened to other owners and their pets.

My cat seems to like the Encore stuff especially the whole tuna loin. He eats the pouches and tins. His favourites are Purina, iams, encore, dashi and Royal canine.

When I got my cat 6 years ago he came with pouches and I bought some very enjoyable. I've recently bought the tinned natural selection boxes and they love it. But its expensive so needs to be eaten as a treat or spaced out between their regular food. As long price & quality stays same I will continue to buy. The food in tins looks good enough to eat. My cats can be picky so I'm glad they enjoy this

I'm in absolute tears. I am a small rescue. 4 of my cats were brought up on Encore as thats all they would eat. My rescues had it as a treat. Because of the cost of the cat food, i had to stop buying Encore. Until Monday afternoon. From donations i included 3 boxes of Encore from Morrisons....Monday evening and Tuesday day cats had encore and fresh chicken. A spoonful each three times a day.

Tuesday morning two of my cats were heavily vomiting. By Tuesday evening 5 other cats were heavily vomiting. That's all 7 and all they had was your food.

The three boxes were bought from Morrisons..

I'm not happy at all.

Our cat liked the fish sachet, so I bought him a box of the cans, which he wouldn’t touch, which seems to be same experience friends and family who have tried it had..

For some reason my cat loves the pouches but won't eat the tinned equivalent... is there a different recipe going into both? Also you really need to find a way to sort out your pouches so there isn't so much waste, the food is quite wet and takes a lot of effort to get it all out without throwing a lot away!

I tried my cat on encore cat food and she ate some great I though so bought it online but when it arrive she turned her nose up at the meat in gravy didn't even look like gravy looked like the broth pouches when looking at the rest of the pouches it doesn't look appetising at all it looks so watery , tried her again on a pouch of tuna and an hour later she was throwing it all back up so won't be giving her the rest of it

My very fussy dog absolutely loves the meat selection in gravy pouches and we can’t praise it enough! We have tried so many different dog foods but this is the only one she will eat and cleans the bowl everytime without fail, thank you so much for making something that she loves and that is good for her skin and coat!

I have been giving my cats encore chicken in broth and all 3 of them are very poorly , they have puked up the chicken and it looks like the haven’t even digested it , this only started when I started feeding them this food

My dogs have been on this for maybe 12 weeks now. They loved it, but one of my dogs isn’t taking to it anymore. He’s having bad stomachs and vomiting and he’s eating grass to ease him. Literally in the past 3 weeks his tummy has rejected it. I’ve seen other reviews similar too. I’m so angry I’m trying to be calm when writing this. Just avoid it. If anyone knows any alternatives plz help?

we have started feeding our dogs Encore dog food simply because it’s natural and grain free, most dog foods upset one of our dogs stomach Encore does not do this…….. both our dogs love the tasty recipes and seem to thrive on it!

Tbh we was buying encore beef the best beef food on the market with some reasons company decided to mix with the chicken since that we left this product and to your information there is nothing else on the market that can be compare 🥴

Our cat goes wild for the tuna broth pouches. Also the small fish tins. She clears her plate and loves it. We love it too, because some of the fish varieties look so fresh and good handling it is a joy and it looks like something you could spread on a bit of nice bread! Our cat looks healthy. Her fur is soft and shiney it seems to work well for her. Very happy with this brand and appreciate the price point is affordable unlike many other healthier brand.

Was given a tin of this for my Frenchie as part of a christmas stocking. Gave it to her this evening and threw the lot up undigested at 3am. Avoid.

Meat does not look half as processed as other foods - my cat loves it and the broth helps keep her hydrated as she isn't a big lover of drinking water!
