⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo artist, it’s easy to make mistakes when you’re handling everything yourself. That’s why I’m so thankful for the support from EmuBands Pro—especially Saúl Cabrera. He’s always quick to fix any issues. Every time I’ve had a request, big or small, he’s handled it quickly and professionally. Super grateful for his help. Having that kind of support really means a lot and makes managing my music so much easier!

Emu bands are always super helpful!

One of my releases had faulty tracks uploaded in error. Emu bands made the whole process for fixing this every easy!

It is generally very easy to release music through Emu bands and keep 100% of the royalties!

What I appreciate the most is the personalized attention, as well as the constant willingness to always seek the best for the artist or the record label. As an artist, my entire catalog is with them, including the album with which I achieved a GRAMMY® nomination as a main artist, as well as the album where I worked on the engineering and which earned a Latin GRAMMY® nomination.

EmuBands have been great! Super responsive and quickly solve issues and queries. They also helped secure my first editorial playlist! Would recommend.

I chose EmuBands because they have dedicated account managers. As a new artist, I knew I might need a bit of hand holding. I am delighted with my knowledgeable and helpful account manager (SJ) and the support I have received. My first EP released flawlessly, and I feel very well supported. I'm in the U.S., so there is a bit of time difference, but it hasn't been a problem at all.

The platform itself is straightforward once you get a grips of the dashboard, they do nudge you to one of their paid plans to access better support, but the pro plan is very much worth it if you have a lot of music to release. The additional help working with SJ at EmuBands has been solid and they’ve helped me through a few issues and it made a difference having someone who knows what they were doing.

last year one of my songs was placed into a botted spotify playlist and after being flagged, my royalties were suspended for 3 months as a precaution from potential spotify fines despite the cause being something out of my control. But after an email with emubands stating my case I was happy to see they reversed the royalty suspension & it was nice to see them side with musicians in my case.

The support team is literally the best I've ever experienced. They are so incredibly helpful. I was having trouble with setting up my artist's first release from transferring all of her releases over to EmuBands from DK & SC and so I contacted support through their live chat. They told me how I was supposed to format a title along with the version type of the release because 4 of the songs on a deluxe album were remasters and they answered the question properly. My issue was I didn't understand it too well because I overthink a lot of things so we went back and forth on the same exact thing and I was giving little pieces of information and questioning and they eventually helped me figure out exactly what I was supposed to do. It's just shocking because any other music distro would have been aggravated by the 3rd re-ask. Their patience is amazing as well as how helpful they are. They fix issues so fast and they are super kind and understanding. The transfer process and submission timing couldn't have been more easy and smooth with them. I'll stop here because at this point I'm just boosting the company's ego but hey- they deserve it lmao.

Literally the best music distributor I've ever had and experienced. Hands down the best. So glad I got away from DistroKid & SoundCloud/Repost Network (sorry if I'm not supposed to name drop, I've just had absolutely terrible experiences with them.)

Oh! That's another thing! I told them THAT as well and they don't even brag about how I think they're better. They just thank me for the compliment and move along with trying to solve my issue!

Goated music distro.

It’s been incredibly smooth transitioning to Emubands! The only qualm i have is navigating through the website might be a bit complicated or not as user friendly, but with the subscription i have, it’s really convenient to get in touch with a person who can help with my questions with helpful replies within 1-2 working days. We've released three singles and our debut album 'Reunion of Broken Parts' with EmuBands and we've had a great experience. Our personal account manager, SJ, helped us at many points along the way, responding quickly and professionally to answer our questions and raising queries with individual music platforms as necessary. It's been great to have an actual human to get in touch with should any issues arise. SJ and the team's help and advice has really been invaluable and we owe them a massive thanks!

Been with EmuBands for around 20 years now and their customer service is second to none. Great company!

Working with SJ at EmuBands Pro has been great. Everything has been very personalized and I've had all my questions answered. Responses have been prompt and the platform is pretty intuitive and easy to use. I like that my catalogue will stay up on the DSPs without any risk of them being taken down. Since my focus is on albums and not singles, this has been the best bang for my buck to get my songs uploaded.

If you're reading this, you are probably doing market research for a distribution service, and are looking for alternatives to DK and CB.

We were doing the same thing, ended up choosing EmuBands and I can recommend this for everyone.

The main advantages against DK and CB:

- The one that actually tipped the scales for us: One time payment per release, and they stay online forever. This was a big deal, as we wanted to make sure that even if the band split up, if they payment method stopped working, or if no-one took care of payment, the music would remain online, forever. No subscription if you don't want one: Just pay once per release and you are done. Probably the biggest advantage in the market right now, and I hope they keep it that way.

- 0% commission: The streaming income is a joke anyway, but even so, in the 1-in-a-million chance your music takes off, you get to keep all the royalties.

- No hidden costs like DK/CB. Their pricing is super simple to understand.

- Excellent support: DK/CB are obviously working with hundreds of thousands of artists and unless you pay for premium support, if anything happens you're probably on your own. Not with Emubands. SJ (our account manager) was there to help us along every step. This was our first release ever and with so many DSPs and things to take care of, their help was gold.

- They are no3 (behind DK and CB) in Spotify's preferred suppliers and in the Youtube Partner program. That's quite important, see the next points for one of the reasons.

Caveats:

We ended up getting the "Pro" subscription for two main reasons:

1) This was our first release online ever on official music platforms, and we wanted to make sure we had the support if anything was needed. As mentioned before, SJ from EmuBands was literally on top of every single issue: From music, metadata, lyrics, pre-save pages, etc. There's a lot of moving parts to a release, and if this is your first time, our advise would be to get the "Pro" package, their support is amazing.

2) The "Pro" package gives you (among others) 3 extra features that, although not necessary, are a welcome bonus: If you are a new artist, they take care of getting you your YouTube OAC. You can only get this if you are a YouTube Partner or work with one, and EmuBands is one of them. Another one is the ability to set a custom label name, which is more of a vanity thing but we definitely wanted that as well. Also, they create for you landing pages where the user can click to select a streaming service, very nice for sharing on social media etc.

Summary:

One-time-payments is the killer argument for us, but now that we have experienced their complete package, we can say that we will definitely stay with them, and would definitely use them for other projects as well. Seriously, DK and CB should be watching them closely, EmuBands' offering blows them out of the water.

Chris has been a huge help getting my release sorted. The support has been top notch and Emubands as a platform is pretty sleek and easy to use. Great value for money.

I regularly work with different collaborators, and instead of manually calculating and sending out payments, I can automate royalty splits per release. It’s accurate, transparent, and lets me see exactly how each release is performing down to the artist and revenue stream. Plus, I love that I don’t have to withdraw all my earnings at once I can withdraw per release, which gives me more financial control.

In summary, EmuBands is more than just a distribution platform they’re a partner I trust. Whether you’re an independent artist or running a label like I do, I highly recommend their services.
