Appalling customer service
I brought a MK bracelet from here for a friends 40th Birthday. On signing up for the news letter they sent me a code for 10% off. I entered it and the website accepted. Bracelet ordered and paid for.
The next day I received an email saying that the code shouldn’t have been used and until I paid the additional £4.10 I wouldn’t receive my bracelet. WOW .. WHAT COMPANY CONTACTS CUSTOMER AFTER YOU HAVE PURCHASED AN ITEM, BLAMES THE CUSTOMER FOR USING A CODE, THEN DEMANDS THE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR THE BRACELET.....?????????
I then got a call from a manager. I explained what happened. She was the one who sent the original email. She was very argumentative and all she kept saying was it’s my fault for using the code. I should never have used the code and says the company was at a loss (£4.10 that was taken off my bill from the code they had sent me)
It’s not my fault or problem that your website accepted the code you had sent. There was absolutely no reasoning with her. She eventually agreed to send the bracelet. It came the next day not in a branded MK box as originally promised. I then had to pay for a box to be delivered.
NEVER in my life have I been spoken to or treated in this manner over £4.10p. yes that’s right all this disgusting behaviour over £4.10.
Her customer service skills were absolutely dreadful and definitely not what you expect especially from a manager in this line of work.
I will NEVER buy anything from this shop again and I would certainly not recommend this shop to anyone.

We are aware of your disappointment as you had written to us, and offered you a generous voucher for you to use, as an apology for the disappointment you felt in our service, which I can see you have redeemed.
The glitch on the website to allow the discount on a sale item was an issue on the site that has now been fixed. Sadly after you input the discount code it allowed you to receive the extra discount. We did however honour this a as goodwill gesture as well as the voucher we offered.
I have taken a look and can see that you was not charged for the box of the item as that is included. I believe we had run out of the branded boxes, but managed to source one for you and got it sent out to you as well.
We are obviously disappointed that after a month and using the compensation that you accepted that we have received this poor review as we felt that we had resolved this for you, we can see that that is not the case.
If you can contact us with anything further we can do to amend the issues you have raised, please do let us know.

Purchased a watch off of their website, but they didn’t have any left in stock. Was offered a refund but instead of processing it they ordered another watch (even though I’d asked for my money back). Took ages even getting back to me about the whole process.

I am so disappointed with your 1 star review - as you had been in store for that watch, this particular model was sold out and was told to you by the team in store. As I understand it you then purchased the watch online, we called you within minutes of you purchasing the watch and reminded you that it was out of stock, but that we can try and order it from the brand for you.
Which we managed to do, with a 2/3 day lead time.
We emailed to confirm this and sadly didn't hear anything from you, until you emailed requesting a refund. Which we have processed for you.
I have contacted you privately to see if their is anything else we can do.

Items not delivered in any manufacturer box but in bubble wrap and Emson Haig tissue paper & Box.
Whilst I am sure the products are genuine they were intended as a gift and now look like cheap knock offs rather than manufacturer product. If you are buying as a gift be aware!

Great service at Lakeside store
I went into the Lakeside Thurrock store with my husband looking for a gift for my birthday. The assistant Jess served us and was really lovely, friendly and super helpful. We tried on some rings and then left to look at other options too. We ended up back there and looked at 2 rings we’d looked at earlier. I am very indecisive and took ages. Jess was extremely patient and we felt completely at ease and were not rushed or pressured at all. She took us to a desk with chairs and we were seated the whole time. She offered us a bottle of water each too. Great service and Jess was lovely. The ring came in a lovely box and Jess presented it in a gift bag with tissue paper and ribbon. Fab service. Thank you Jess.

Ordered an item for a birthday present…
Ordered an item for a birthday present next day delivery. Didn’t arrive so I emailed. Was told was out of stock and would be a few weeks and if I wanted anything else. Chose another cheaper item. Didn’t get told on dispatch and it arrived when out so missed birthday. Also never received refund for difference in prices.
Edited to add received refund today, possibly after vendor seeing this.
