HH Health System - HEMSI reimbursement nightmare
HH Health System - HEMSI needed to reimburse me for an overpayment made on Jan 14, 2026 for $105. Because of their confusing online patient portal I had made a double entry.
Customer service initially told me on Jan 20 that they would credit my checking account by Feb 4. NOPE!!!
A call on Feb 4 revealed that they would mail me a check that will take up to 12 WEEKS. That's 3 months to process a payment. WHY? I was told there was no option to do this electronically.
I hope I never need to use their ambulance service again.
