I have a very bad experience with this Bank. Unprofessional banking and very inconsiderate staff. It is not possible to call them from outside the country even using the phone number they provided. The only way to reach out is when they call you which is totally in inconvenient. I would be very happy to close my account at the earliest chance.

I’m extremely disappointed with Emirates NBD. An unauthorized transaction was made from my account on 23/04/2025 without my knowledge or consent. I immediately reported it, but the customer service was unhelpful and slow to respond.They told it will take 90 days to refund it.
Despite providing all necessary details and proof, I have yet to receive a proper resolution or refund. This kind of security issue is unacceptable from a major bank. I no longer feel my money is safe with Emirates NBD.
I do not recommend this bank to anyone who values secure and responsive banking services.Really have very bad experience.

I am asking very basic questions. Zyra is taking 10 min to answer and when she does she comes with a generic answer without trying to understand what is going on. It’s very frustrating to have such bad service. I have surplus of money sitting on my balance credit card and I need to pay June bill. She is telling me to wait as no money is there. I’m sending screenshot of my bank and ebbs app to show her money is already there but she is repeating same thing. Zyra need to get fired cause I’m definitely closing my credit card with enbd.
very bad internal coordination or update
i have an auto loan from Enbd for my company, and its been 18 months that a simple change of auto debit in banking was updated submitting all documents 3 times personally at their bank last April 2024 , spending more than 15 hours of waiting time( i,e change in banking) which till date not been updated in their system for auto debit!!!
been 18 months and everytime a New person calls us for due payment etc, and we need to tell them the long story of ENBD not updating the change in banking etc etc with promises that the next month it will be sorted!!!!!!!!!!.....and the story continues, its time we take this to central bank .

Deteriorating Service And Slow Complaint Resolution
ENBD’s service has been deteriorating over last 1 year. The worst and most recent failure: I made an ATM deposit on a saturday, the machine malfunctioned, it took my money but didn’t credit my account. I immediately made a complaint with ATM ID details etc, followed up everyday, 2 days later on monday im told the customer service agent filed the complaint wrong so they made new complaint. They said multiple times they expedited it, but generally takes 4 working days to process. It is now end of 3rd working day (I made the complaint 5 days ago) and im struggling to pay my bills. I have been gracious, patient, understanding and extremely reasonable, but it’s not the IT team or whoever is ‘working on it’ who’s not able to pay bills and kid’s school fees, its me. I have no faith nor trust in ENBD anymore. I pray they never experience struggles to pay bills like this. Very disappointed.

ZERO STAR for this bank, I cancelled my credit card on may and today 22 July I received message from nbd that I have overdue 128.16 aed , and full overdue was 563.27 aed , ppl just to let u know I closed my credit card I payed full amount of 35k+ aed and they still charged me on CANCELED CREDIT CARD call center they Don’t know even how and only management can investigate this lmao I ask full documentation of cancellation all of this my credit card and my name from emirates nbd but They can’t send me this how to understand yani they only provide info to give credit card but to cancel they can’t ??????

Their Business web banking dates back to the ice age. No customer support. You cannot even see your bank accounts - just some of them.
Only low paid people or a call center in India. Back in 2001 my bank had better experience than this one.

This bank employees are not responsible my wife passed by their branch last year to update her signature with a copy of her passport. Now after a year we are struggling with them. They keep on canceling the cheques and this lack of update in their system makes us pay penalties for the rental. Is it normal in any bank not to save a simple signature specially that we call them each time to validate the signature. Now as she is bedridden at the hospital for 2 months they kept on asking to validate which she did on phone with their useless chatbot and agents. And they are asking her to come to the branch while she doesn’t have the right to leave her room. NBD is making us sick and once she will get out of the hospital she will change the bank .
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service , I applied for a clearance letter on 25th of June and today I followed up the situation then I was told that no request found after they took all my details, I have visited the brunch and in the brunch they found out that the request was not made and the excuse was that there is system error , very bad experience and I don’t recommend this bank .
WEAK CREDIT CARD SECURITY
I had my credit card stolen and the bank authorized without asking for PIN or OTP one transaction of 5k aed (made in Vietnam), another of 4k aed (also made in Vietnam) and another of 9k aed (made in Hong Kong). The dispute team, who clearly doesn't care about the customers, sent me a short, cold email saying the transactions were authorized in a secure channel using the embedded chip in the card. How come a transaction authorized without PIN or OTP is secure?? How they approve such a huge amounts without asking PIN or OTP?? To make things worse, they told me the physical card was used, but there was an interval of 8minutes between the transaction, so explain to me how someone can go from Vietnam to Hong Kong in 8 minutes?! They are making me pay 19k aed for fraudulent transactions that were authorized without PIN or OTP in a different country than where I was!! This only happened because of a security breach/weakness/failure from their side! SO UNFAIR!!

Worst Bank I ever have an experience... Worst mobile app, everytime you make local transfer it needs days to reach recipient, you need to go to Branch, raise case, chat with agents, waste time and nobody helps in the end just need to wait... They do not care at all about customers..
Over charged
I made one transaction for 50 AED and they charged me 100 AED on that particular transaction without any reason.

Simply awful and tiring to say the least…
I can’t even describe how appalling the experience is, this bank with all it’s high tech stuff has failed to credit my account with my payroll since 2 weeks now, the other disturbing fact that no one from customer service has the courtesy to call or provide a proper response with regards to the delay, lately they’ve been saying we have an IT issue!! how ridiculous is this!!!. I had a very disappointing experience with Emirates NBD. The customer service agents were unhelpful and displayed an unprofessional attitude throughout the interaction. Instead of providing support, they were dismissive and lacked basic courtesy. It's frustrating to deal with such behavior, especially when you're expecting assistance from a reputed bank. I am so angry that I wanted to rate the bank with zero star if possible
for a year my car loan has been deducted automatically with no problems
suddenly last month it was not
after calls with customer support they said they have made changed to the loan system and give me a new autoloan number to pay by machine
nobody has contacted or sent a message about these changes!! When I asked if any action was required on my side they said no!! next month same issue and nobody contacted me and the customer support person said nobody complained about the autloan!! and I have to raise a complain that will take 15 days
all that rollercoaster andd none of them even sent an email
