Shocking ERP

Shocking ERP.

Created random stock transactions which fundamentally meant this stock control system didn’t do its basic function.

Support would log on to ‘fix it’ but suspect they just amended the rogue transactions in the background to show what you wanted to see as when you then got into the finance module it would never add up correctly!

Before we canned the project after 18 months of promise after promise to deliver a working system, we started testing with very basic data and quickly it became an inward joke in our business that if you had 100 pencils worth £100 and sold 20 E Max would say you had 72 left and a stock value of £15,000.

Great if you like inaccurate data. Bad if you actually want a snapshot of your business performance.

Thankfully our 25 year old system ran in tandem so we simply reverted at the time and are now working with a much better and more professional outfit.

Also if thinking of using (their rates are very reasonable) check their annual accounts, you can see the business is heading one way so think about that in the long term

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Mark. We’re sorry to hear about your experience, although we must point out that the events described took place in 2020 — more than four years before this review was posted.

This review contains several other inaccuracies, so we’d like to provide some clarification for the benefit of others reading.

E-Max ERP is designed to deliver accurate, real-time data across all business areas, including stock control and financials. The issues described are not typical of our software and are not reflective of the experiences of the many manufacturing businesses using E-Max ERP successfully today.

When errors occur, our support team works transparently and in collaboration with customers to identify root causes and resolve them. We do not make hidden changes, and any system updates are fully auditable and recorded.

We’re proud of our long-standing reputation and financial stability. Our accounts are publicly available and we encourage any prospective clients to review them as part of their due diligence.

While we regret this particular implementation did not work out, we remain committed to helping our customers achieve the visibility and control they need from their ERP system. We wish you all the best with your current software.

If you would like to discuss any specific concerns in more detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Horrific ERP - Terrible Company AVOID!!

Summary: We are yet another customer that couldn't get the system to work after plowing in over £100k and probably the same value in internal resource. The system is in no way ready as a full ERP/MRP, do not be fooled by the sales patter or the demos as once you get live data into the system it is horrendous, slow, not customisable. I disagree with the other 1 star review - their support is shocking, they are only concerned about the next piece of income, surely this business will fail and then you will be left with an unsupported ERP - we had high hopes - we have been left with a truly dreadful experience.

Positive: Absolutely dreadful experience with EMAX, there seriously are no pros at all, they even did the training remotely after promising us onsite training which we paid for.

Negative: So much of the system did not work, none of the modules worked correctly, API was promised and not delivered. The financial module was a joke, never added up and loved inventing rogue data. The support was shocking, it took months to resolve some minor problems, by which time we had a load more problems. Worst experience we have ever had as a business. Nearly broke us!
