Tracking number didn't work for me (international)
After receiving the company’s response, I understand that the order may indeed have been delivered correctly and on time. The main issue from my side was that the tracking link did not work for me when accessed from abroad, so I had no visibility on the delivery status and could not confirm receipt (especially since this was a gift and I couldn’t reach the recipient).
This seems to be more of an international tracking/access issue rather than a problem with their dispatch process. If you are ordering from another country, you may want to consider this potential limitation when relying on tracking.

We’d like to clarify that the tracking link provided is working correctly and, when accessed, clearly shows that the order was delivered on 8th January, the day after it was placed on 7th January. This is next-day delivery and fully in line with our service.
We understand that the order was sent as a gift and that you were unable to contact the recipient, however this is unfortunately outside of our control. The parcel was delivered successfully according to the courier’s tracking.
If you had contacted us directly, we would have been more than happy to go through the tracking with you and assist where possible. A 2-star review based solely on difficulty reaching the recipient does not reflect the delivery or service provided.
We do hope you’ll consider updating your review, as the order was dispatched promptly and delivered the very next day.

Terrible
Terrible. I lost my money and nobody cares. It was received by someone claiming to be me… clearly did not knock on my door as I live alone. I emailed them and they are asking me to chase Royal Mail? Isn’t this your duty of care to ensure parcel recieved safely. I live alone so parcel is as handed to someone in corridor as I live in block of flats
