Very good service throughout. The lot was well described, payment straightforward and collection of the item efficient.

Excellent company to use. The auction is well run, commission bids are easy to place as are only e live bids. I have bid and won several items over the years and have been delighted by the efficiency of packing and delivery. I sold some jewellery at the aution in March 2025 they said it will take 38 days to give you your money on what you sell. They said we don't pay a thing all payments come from clients and are paid in full bank transfer on the date specified. My jewellery didn't do too well I thought it was poorly actioned. I earned £550 pound on what I feel i was ripped off with. However I waited out the 38 long days to not be paid? I called them and was informed I was supposed to be paid the day before so they was in fact a day already late paying me . They apologies can through the phone and they was going to chase up the accountant. Now it another two days of me calling them up and chasing my money. Unfortunately it is now the bank Holiday weekend and I still do not a payment from them. I will be reporting this company to the police on Monday for fraud and non payment and stealing my items. Pls pls be careful when selling to this aution house. I'm 550 pounds down and just glad I didn't hand over 1000s of pounds worth of gold and family airlooms.

I posted previously regarding an item I feel was misold and complained that my emails went unanswered.
However when this was picked up by a manager, communication was good and he made efforts to resolve the issue in a mutually satisfactory manner. The only thing I will say is that whilst the item was returned and sold on, I was still left out of pocket as Elmwoods would not return my buyer fee which was around £150. For this reason grey have gone from nought to three star but would have been five star if they had done the fair thing and ensured I wasn't out of pocket.

A great experience buying from Elmwoods auction.
I was kept updated with my delivery and it was shipped securely extremely quickly.
A small additional accessory was missing from my winning lot and the person I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and friendly and shipped it out to me the next day.
I would definitely recommend shopping with Elmwoods they have always been great with me and a pleasure to deal with.
