I reached out the day my subscription renewed after I did not receive an email notifying me 30 days before of the charge and asked for a refund of which they were unable to process.

I reached out multiple times via email with this last time taking them almost a month to respond to me saying that they are unable to send me a copy of the invoice, even though I know most systems are able to resend emails that have been sent or even send me a screenshot For something that is really about investing money and really being there for their members terrible support, distrustful service and given the other reviews, I am not surprised to see their rating be the low.

To put it simply, they could have just refunded me since I reached out the same day as the charge and it would have been fine instead, I had to reach out multiple times for them to take days and weeks to respond.

TOTAL SCAM!!! DO NOT SEND ANY FUNDS THERE. NEITHER CRYPTOCURRENCY!! I HAVE LOST 85K WHICH WAS FULLY CHEATED OUT OF ME.. M A D A C O V I ȼø: was there and stood for me to clear the pending issue thanks to them. MY PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS FOUND OUT THAT BOILER ROOM IS IN TBILISI, GEORGIA AND BACK OFFICE IS IN KIEV, UKRAINE!!!!! MANAGER IS SOME DUMB KID NAMED LEVAN KOBAHIDZE. More info soon to come.

I don't have any concerns about their investment advice or custodianship of my money. However, they are lacking in some important functions - don't do cross-border advising, don't do back-door Roth conversions, to name the items that caused me to leave.
The main complaint I have is that it is nearly impossible to cancel the plan. I thought I had completed the cancellation process online, but was charged for the following year nonetheless. After some (slow) back and forth with their support, I was told they had no record of my cancellation and would not rescind the charge. I have no idea what further steps I could have taken after using their online portal, but they said I should have contacted them. Very poor customer service.

Ive tried to cancel my account THREE times. They continue to not respond to any of my emails. ive also moved all money from the account and cancelled any reoccurring payments. BUT they somehow still move money from my bank to the ellevest account.

I have seen Ellevest’s business practices directly through my significant other, and her recent experience has completely solidified our opinion of the establishment. Ellevest doesn’t notify you of charges, declined transactions, nor are they transparent upfront about what applications do or don’t work, or about their limits such as third party providers. Recently, they had her verify her identity on a Thursday, after being a customer for multiple months and receiving consistent paychecks every two weeks. The verification portal wasn’t working and required more than 5 kinds of documentation. The next day, they rejected her paycheck because she had yet to verify her identity, although she was only given less than 24 hours to fill out the information. They sent her the email around 4pm the previous day. It also required her going through support and digging for a support phone number to finally get her answer (the first time she called it went to voicemail). For a bank that’s “empowering women” they’re more so stressing them out and making it more difficult to access hard earned money. Neither of us would recommend this service.

great platform. it is easy to use. i like that i can talk to a real person during business hours and they have a lot of resources i can learn from.

I love the idea of this app - if only I could actually work- sight doesn't work and they don't respond to chat or emails
