Scam website

I bought a leather bag and a pair of boots. The bag is made of plastic and the boots are multiple sizes too small. They offered a refund for 20, 40 and 70% of purchase price. I lodged a claim with PayPal to get free return shipping and 100% refund. They argued against PayPal and for some reason PayPal sided with them! I’m now trying to pay for return postage, which is within elle’s buyer guarantee. But they will not confirm their return address. This is very much a scam website!

Complete garbage

Complete garbage - total waste of money. The order took 2-3 weeks to arrive, no updates. When I checked the tracking I found it was shipping out of China. When it arrived it was terrible. The fabric was so cheap you could see through it, the quality was worse than a high school sewing class. Seriously, don't bother.

Petite sized cIothing

As I am quite petite the clothes I ordered which I loved when seeing them online were just too big and wouldn't fit me. My response from the team was outstanding and I am very grateful for the care and attention I received.

Would buy just be aware

Although the items received were not exactly as I thought they would be, this company was more than willing to help and respond in a quick time frame to organise a full refund.
They did offer store credits but after a few back and forth emails they gave the full refund. I would use this company however just be aware of all fine prints and that the company isn’t in Australia

I honestly wish I had read more reviews…

I honestly wish I had read more reviews before ordering from ELL The Label. They make it look like they’re a local Byron Bay company, and there was zero mention of anything coming from China. Then the clothes showed up almost 2 months later — completely misleading.

The quality is awful. Nothing like the photos, really cheap material, bad stitching and the sizing was way off. I spent over $300 thinking I was supporting a local boutique and it was the total opposite.

Trying to return everything has been a nightmare. It’s been about 3 months and even though I sent the items back, they keep saying they haven’t received them. The whole process has been a joke. Total waste of time and money.

I wouldn’t recommend ELL The Label to anyone.

Elle the Label is rubbish

The clothing took a while as it came from China. I didn’t realise it was a Chinese brand, at $65 I thought it was a cheap Aussie brand. The quality was poor, the sizing big and it took 2 days to get information for a refund. They made getting a refund so hard I took a 20% and got stuck with the dress, it’s not good enough to give to charity

Do not purchase from this website

Do not purchase from this website. They are located in China and the products I received were nothing like the photos. I paid $80 for a jumper that looked like it was stitched together by a 2 year old and was completely different to the website photo. I tried to organise a refund and the company were reluctant to refund, I did end up returning the product and it sat in Chinas customs for 3 months and is now being returned. The quality and customer service is atrocious. I don't usually leave reviews if I have a bad experience but due to the really poor quality of the clothing for the hefty price I think it is necessary. Do not purchase from this website !

Poor quality and slow delivery

The product took ages to arrive. The company says they are based in byron bay but the product was shipped from china. I only learned this from tracking. I feel as if i have been misled.
The quality was very poor. I wear a size 16. I ordered 2 x 3xl tops. (I did size up.) They barely fit me.
The colours are washed out compared to online.
I deeply regret purchase. I just wasted $140.
I will never wear these. They are uncomfortable and of very poor quality.
I have contacted the company and PayPal and requested a refund.
Despite requesting the return shipping address three times, the company has not provided. They have offered exchange and discounts of 10, then 20, then 50 percent. The company says returns are a complicated and time consuming process and they advise against it. IMO this behaviour constitutes unethical business practice.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - the materials are cheap and nasty for the price you pay. The ‘fuss-free’ returns is not existent. You will NOT get your money back no matter how many emails you send to them. This company should be closed down! I wouldn’t even give them a one star but it’s the only way I could write a review. Very Dodgy!!

I am now on my third email and I’m quoting Australian Consumer Law, trying to get a refund on a dress that is poorly sized( too tight across the shoulder, baggy everywhere else ) and made of poor quality fabric. They make every excuse not to refund and will not hand over a returns address. They want photos “ to feedback to staff” . These have been sent but still, no address to return the dodgy dress has been provided. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

Do not buy from this store. Must be a scam. Coat I purchased was poorly made and faded - nothing like the photo. Exhausting trying to get a refund. No customer service. Did not receive my $375 or so back. Won’t be purchasing from them again. 😡☹️😡

SCAM...NOT AN AUSTRALIAN LABEL.

I'm another VERY DISAPPOINTED customer to add to their extremely long list. And be aware that you won't get your money back. Paid over $200 for a dress that didn't fit properly and also seems to be way over priced for the quality. Trying to get a refund was IMPOSSIBLE as she was pushing for us not to return the item as she told us that it might be lost in the mail due to the return address being in China. After several frustrating emails trying to get a refund we accepted a store credit and was told to keep the dress which was of no use to me. The items purchased from the store credit did not match the advertise items and this time the quality was even worse. I've purchased much better quality items from Temu for a fraction of the cost.
Absolute SCAM at it worse!!

Do no buy from Elle the Label - they are fraudulent.

I purchased a dress in June of 2025 which was very poor in quality and did not fit well at all.
I reached out to make a return / refund and I got multiple emails offering different solutions which I did not want. I was given an address to ship back to China at my own expense and the package has been returned with the addressee not accepting the package. I am still getting ridiculous feedback from them and are now reporting them to Dept. of Fair Trading.

ElletheLabel is Direct from China - Not Genuine Business

Drop Shipping Fraudulent Company (not Australian at all!) who send sub standard goods directly from China.
The dress I ordered also shows online from Shein for about 25% of the price I paid.
Recommend not trading with Elle the Label and always check on this website prior to purchasing goods online.
I have been offered a 20% refund which I yet have to receive. Any other offer wouldn't be viable as goods directly from China.

Appalling quality- worse than Shein

Appalling quality- worse than Shein, NOT an Australian store. Attempting to push me off when I am asking for a refund - $99 blazer for work, see through, plastic material- completely misrepresented in all images. For gods sake - do not buy from Elle the Label. They’ve stolen my money. Then they reply to this with a ‘solution’ but provide absolutely no recourse. Absolute thieves.
