Order was listed on website for sale which was out of stock, wasted time

Ordered an item that was listed as "in stock," only to be told days later it was sold out. I was offered an exchange, but despite emailing multiple times to confirm my new choice for a time-sensitive gift, I have been met with total silence. Very poor communication when the mistake was on their end. I need a response immediately.

Very slow to issue refund on returned…

Very slow to issue refund on returned goods! Had to ask several times! Also knocked £15 off refund for gift boxes which were returned and a handing fee!

Brilliant Customer Service

I ordered a gift for my mum but was traveling for work when Elk & Bloom reached out to say the item was out of stock. Instead of just refunding me, they offered any alternative regardless of value—fantastic service. After a gentle reminder, they realised it was a time-sensitive gift and proactively dispatched a close substitute along with a complimentary gift. My mum absolutely loved the earrings. I’m really impressed by the thoughtfulness and care.

I recently purchased a pair of earrings…

I recently purchased a pair of earrings for my sister-in-law’s birthday from a third-party website, but unfortunately they had already sold out of the style I chose. Although it was disappointing, Katie at Elk & Bloom was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole situation.

She was incredibly helpful and patient, giving me the opportunity to look at alternative pairs they had available and making sure I felt supported in finding something suitable. In the end, I decided to purchase earrings elsewhere, but Katie still went above and beyond by ensuring I received my refund promptly from the third-party site.

Her customer service was genuinely excellent — friendly, professional, and truly helpful from start to finish. Even though I didn’t end up purchasing this time, I wouldn’t hesitate to shop with Elk & Bloom in the future thanks to Katie’s outstanding support.

Flimsy product

I bought a thumb ring and it came off and got lost within days, I bought another to replace it and it did the same within a day. After contacting customer services they said they would give me 20% off to replace but they wouldn’t just give me the code, they would only reimburse this once ordered. Unfortunately I would have had to use klarna as £55 for the third time isn’t cheap. I didn’t bother replacing as was just made complicated and the product is obviously flimsy and not worth the money.

Extremely quick to respond and communicative. Was proactive and provided alternative solutions when required. Incredibly kind and understanding even when I asked to return an item a month after it's purchase.

Disappointed

I bought earrings for a Christmas gift which arrived late and were very different from the ones I ordered. I returned them the following day through Royal Mail collection service. It took a number of emails to receive a refund and 41 days. I understand the business owner was away from work although her customer service team were responding to me so unsure why everything took so long. Disappointing that postage was also deducted from my refund.

Not a good company to buy from

This is a very poor company to buy from. The earrings I ordered for a Christmas present never arrived but I was sent an inferior and unsuitable cheaper alternative which I promptly returned . Although this situation arose because of their internal mistakes they wouldn't accept any responsibility and would only refund half the cost. Beware.
