Appalling customer service
Tried to return a Christmas gift on the 13th Jan after a hectic period of moving house and returning to work. Was advised the policy is all returns must be made by the 4th January (9 days to receive the gift and get to the shop to return it!!) We were not advised of this at time of purchase and the card it is on was hidden away in the packaging. No view was taken when I explained our circumstances and the owner was quite frankly unpleasant. Customer service is a very valuable thing and they have none! I was advised that they have been in business for 41years. I doubt with this type of behaviour they will be around for much longer!
