He made us pay in advance and disappeared with the money asking for more and left us with an unfinished house.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Elite Construction Group (elitebouwgroep.nl) is an absolute scam. They took the full payment for my project, demanded extra money, and then disappeared without completing the work.
Their communication was full of excuses and delays, and when it came time to finish the job, they simply stopped responding. They have no professionalism, no integrity, and no respect for their clients.
Beware of their false promises and empty guarantees! They will take your money and leave you stranded with an incomplete project. I am now pursuing legal action against them for their fraudulent behavior.
Do yourself a favor—stay away from this company and find a trustworthy contractor instead!
