Visa card compromised
There was a pin on Pinterest for woman’s Ugg slippers at a great price. When I opened the pin it stated that I was ordering through Nordstrom Rack which I just found out they are no longer operating in Canada. The site was listed as elementaryu.shop.
I then added the Ugg slipper to my bag, filled out all the necessary information, including my Visa card information. When I pressed place the order it stated that my order could not be processed at this time.
Twenty minutes later I got a call from my bank telling me my Visa card was compromised by someone in Britain. My card was immediately cancelled and I was issued a new card.
I contacted Pinterest I made them aware of my situation so they could follow up.
A few days later I went back on Pinterest and the same pin was there offering the same Ugg slippers, but they had changed the online website, however they were still saying they were from Nordstrom Rack.
Be very careful ordering anything from a pin on Pinterest. Do your own investigation to check and see if the site is even real.
