Disappointing customer service
The management of this shopping centre seems to be overwhelmed and poorly effective
I was given a gift voucher for my work on the covid pandemic by my colleagues. I asked the Eldon square staff about how this gift voucher works and was given incorrect information. I went on shopping trip a month before the original expiry and spent about £10 of a £55 voucher but was told purchases extend the expiry.
It turns out that vouchers only last a year and there is nothing you can do to extend that. I'd been given incorrect information. I have been emailing Cormac Hamilton since May about this. Their customer services were just very unhelpful to me, even though i had been given incorrect information by their staff. Cormac Hamilton has just stopped responding. As a chief executive he said there was probably little he could do. Now you have to question the entire management of the company when the chief executive has his hands tied or can't help solve problems.
Bottom line is. Don't guy gift vouchers for Eldon square - buy the better known vouchers for multiple shops. You'll get better customer service and better expiry dates.
