A+ a solid product and experience with the Eelo company. Most importantly, superb customer service…it’s has been a long time since I have engaged with a company where after sales customer service is worth mentioning. Keith went beyond the call of duty to help me adjust my Eelo bicycle remotely. Picked up the phone and sent me parts, walked me through everything remotely. Outstanding product and personalised customer service…I do not often write reviews, and this time I felt it necessary to share with others my experiences with the product and after sales service, absolutely deserves a 10 star recommendation for customer experience.
Eelo 1885 Disc
I did a great deal of research, before purchasing this bike. I had come by an used one in black over 4 years ago, and I loved it so much. I did in excess of 1200 miles with it, and it never let me down. But the battery needed replacing, the brakes had worn and the tyres were going bald. I did look what other electric bikes there were, but none came close in style, look and especially the weight. I go on the train with it, and as we know, not all stations have a lift, and very often they are out of order! It’s therefore extremely important that I can lift it and even to put it in my car. The delivery was so efficient, less than 24 hours after ordering. Would highly recommend and the company was very helpful when I wanted to know about my first bike.
First class
From start to finish, the process of buying the Eelo 1885 was very simple & straightforward. I’m very much old school, preferring to buy from a shop so I can see the product & make sure it is right for me but as this was not possible, I did as much research as I could then rang to ask a few questions. Customer service was brilliant. Caroline was a gem, very helpful, patient & pleasant to deal with & is a credit to the company. Delivery was exceptional, I received the bike less than 24 hours after ordering & I am very happy. Being under 5ft (& shrinking) finding the right bike for me was proving difficult but I love the Eelo 1885. I was a bit unsure about committing to buying a bike as I haven’t ridden for over 15 years & have never had an electric bike but the Eelo is perfect. Not too heavy, easy to master & easy to fold, it ticks all my boxes. I have no hesitation in recommending Eelo & wish all online purchases were this easy & stressfree.
Can't fault them
This is the 2nd bike my mum has owned by them, she has looked at others but the customer service is really helpful and the delivery is always quick. The quality of them is the best out the few she's owned. It's also one of the very few in the price range that make it easy to get up hills, so she won't choose another brand now! If you are wanting a small and easy to fold bike that is also lightweight, I would highly recommend eelo.

Keith is an absolute legend. I have only just ordered my bike, but the attention they give potential and existing customers is second to none. Looking at the reviews, I can tell that what I experienced today, will be what I experience when I need a service or have a question or issue.
I had some questions before buying, Keith asked if I wanted some time to think about it, my answer, no! I'm ordering now. Within a short time of ordering, Keith gave me a quick call to confirm that he'd managed to get it out for me today, for delivery tomorrow (a saturday) as I am working Monday. AND that he'd given me an upgrade. What a legend!
Also, the replacement batteries are a reasonable price for what I expected. Which was another reason I chose this company.

Exceptional service

The most important thing i would say about this company is, an excellent customer service. They keep updating you about your problem and the steps they are taking to resolve it. Fastest customer service i ever received in my life. Additionally, I so much appreciate Mr. Keith. who helped me a lot to resolve issue in my bike. I wish if there is any option where i can give them 10 stars... much appreciated.!!

Not Durable.
I have put up with this bike for too long, been patient for too long. So here goes:
1) Multiple punctures. Use this bike in an urban area? Give it a few weeks to a month and you will get a puncture. The inner tube cant take the weight necessary and cope with the rigours of the road. You can't tip the bike any more than 5 degrees before you pinch the tube to a puncture. I've had 12 punctures from July 2023 to April 2024.
2) Brakes wear out quite quickly. Normal on electric bikes but don't expect longevity.
3) Brake disc moves. It isn't fixed on the front at least, bends easily so you will get scrapes against the brake pads quite a lot.
4) Tyres are weird. 14 inch but dont buy 14 inch tyres of your own because they wont fit. There is simply nowhere to find puncture-proof replacements.
5) Charging port on underside. Wet day? Spray from the front wheel will get into the charging port. It has a rubber stopper but that'l fall off after a few months.
6) Rear mud guard falls off. Its precariously attached via a thin metal strip. Uneven ground after a few months will snap that sucker off.
All in all i've lost upwards of 4 months whilst this bike has been in for repairs and the guys who do repair laugh as i return; they expect me back. Avoid this bike is my recomendation. Estarli i recommend as a far more reliable alternative.

The eelo electric bike is brilliant
The eelo electric bike is brilliant, easy to use and rides like a dream. I've had the bike for 17 months now and I use it pretty much every day don't know what I would do without it. Had a problem with the bike at one point but I spoke to the guys at eelo who quickly sorted this for me. Big thanks to Keith Robertson at CPR Global. Would highly recommend
