First called and they quoted very competitive price to replace my brake pads...waited 30mins on arrival and courteous, knowledgeable service was achieved cost effectively and while I waited...first class
This is the best bike shop in London! My pedal broke on way to work. Somehow got back to Edgware after work. They knew I need my bike, pushed me to the front of the queue, new pedals and away in 5 minutes! All with a smile. Great prices, brilliant service. Totally recommend.
Be careful - ordered goods online but never received them
A few weeks ago I ordered and paid for several items but never received them. I never received an answer to any queries. I can only advise you never to order anything from this online shop.
I visited this store because I needed, amongst other things, a bicycle wheel.
After firing a few questions at me as to the exact specifications of the wheel required, the lone male manning the store said he had the wheel in two colours - black and silver.
I asked if I could see both before making a decision, and he agreed.
He showed me the black wheel, then in a tone suggestive of an ultimatum told me the silver wheel cost £15 more.
No explanation was offered for the discrepancy.
I asked for a pack of brake pads and he inexplicably took down two packs from the hook on the wall.
After I paid (£67) he actually jerked his thumb in the direction of the exit as if to say, 'now get out'.
Shortly after I arrived, an apparent associate of this man arrived, and stood behind me throughout, saying nothing.
I do not personally know either of those two people.
When I need replacement bike parts in the future, and I shall, I will not buy them from there.
I took my bike into Edgware cycles in Manor Park Crescent to mend a puncture. But instead of just mending the puncture, they put in a brand new inner tube for the price I expected to pay for just repairing the old one. This is service and value for money you just do not see these days. The gentleman (Sam) even adjusted one of the brakes for me as he told me it wasn't working properly and didn't charge me a penny more.
