The EDF told the house would be empty…

The EDF told the house would be empty for the winter
Gave them the readings from the meter the hour we left.
Then. Later had 150 plus euro from my bank.they also have a monthly standing charge from my bank.so I have to wait to get my money back.

The EDF customer service assistent was brilliant. A credit to the company.

The EDF customer service assistent spoke really good english, was able to find my current contact with ease and assuat me with setting up an additional contract for my second property. Thank you for making the transition so easy.

Rude

Rude, condescending agents who cant get their story straight. One lie after another which is frustrating. After having this by 2 cocky agents (there must be more as i could hear in the background "will you not shout at me, stop shouting at me" it seems im not the only one to be frustrated by these prima Donna agents. Last night was the final straw, i called selectra and changed providers for the good of my blood pressure

Excellent help from the EDF English language service

I received excellent service from EDF in transferring my electricity supply to them. My French is not good enough to hold a detailed business conversation but I was able to use the EDF English language service which was fantastically helpful. The advisor ran me through the options and helped me set up the new account. She was first class and I would recommend anyone struggling with sufficient French to tackle the complex details to use this service.
